00:00:12 A lawyer group, Kim and Kim, that's what it's gonna be.
00:00:15 (laughter)
00:00:17 Kim and Kim Associates.
00:00:20 Today I wanna talk on this subject.
00:00:24 And this is not the subject, you're gonna know it when I tell you.
00:00:26 I wasn't, I didn't, I didn't wanna do this. I didn't, I didn't try this.
00:00:31 But because they tried me, I was forced to fight.
00:00:37 (laughter)
00:00:40 How many of y'all don't bother nobody, but if they...
00:00:42 (laughter)
00:00:46 I was forced.
00:00:50 Spirit of the living God, fall fresh upon me.
00:00:57 Eternal Spirit, it's once again that I come asking for your permission to preach.
00:01:00 Bread of heaven, feed us until we want no more.
00:01:07 In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
00:01:10 You may be seated in the presence of the Lord.
00:01:12 Touch somebody on your way down to your seats.
00:01:14 I was forced in this fight, I was forced.
00:01:25 So once again, Moses and Israel are confronted with more trouble.
00:01:36 I don't even have an introduction, I'm just gonna start preaching.
00:01:41 I have one, I'm just gonna skip it.
00:01:46 Because it's like when you read the Bible, no sooner is one trial over,
00:01:55 for them another one begins.
00:01:57 How many of your life has ever taken on that cyclical cycle where it's just one thing?
00:02:05 One win followed by a loss, one loss followed by a win.
00:02:11 And so you don't know how to feel because as soon as you get yourself up,
00:02:14 something brings you down.
00:02:17 As soon as you think you found a friend, somebody shows you they are not a friend.
00:02:20 As soon as you think you found your career, you find out it was just a stop.
00:02:29 Between the rock and the hard place, between history and destiny,
00:02:33 between good times and bad times, between up and down,
00:02:36 somewhere between God is good and I'm about to jump off a bridge.
00:02:42 Somewhere between I love my home but I don't want to go there.
00:02:45 Somewhere between I'm glad that they're my children but if I can go back 20 years,
00:02:52 I'm not sure I would have chosen the same path.
00:02:54 Not that I don't love them but I just hate what's happening to me.
00:02:58 No pain will make you want to change and alter every decision that you made
00:03:01 in your entire life and especially when it's cyclical.
00:03:04 One thing after the other, after the other, after the other,
00:03:06 especially when you're looking at other people who don't have the gifts,
00:03:09 the talents, or the relationships with God that you have and you look at them
00:03:12 and their life seems like it's going well and here you are tithing and praying
00:03:15 and singing and attending worship service like, "Lord, what in the world is going on here?
00:03:19 I thought that when I joined this organization you called a church
00:03:22 that my life would be better but let me tell you, it always gets worse
00:03:25 before it gets better."
00:03:29 And the reason why is because we walk by faith and not by sight and God knows
00:03:33 that if he gave you a membership number and you got benefits from day one,
00:03:36 then you would not be in the club because you love the club owner.
00:03:40 You would be in for the French benefits.
00:03:43 So sometimes he allows you to join the Army without giving you a helmet
00:03:46 to see if you'll trust him to cover your head.
00:03:53 It is interesting.
00:03:55 Online and in this room, how many fighters are in this place?
00:04:04 You don't get it.
00:04:06 You don't get it.
00:04:07 See, church is where we give our presentation, but you are sitting next to somebody
00:04:15 who literally is walking through hell and high water at this very moment.
00:04:21 And the reason why we don't see it is because lipstick can cover it up.
00:04:26 Suits can dress it down.
00:04:28 We can come in church and our chest can be up because we feel good about what we wear,
00:04:33 but if you take off the cape, Superman, you become Clark Kent and your vision
00:04:38 begins to wane and you cannot see clearly.
00:04:41 You don't know who a friend is and you cannot leap a building in a single bound
00:04:46 and you cannot be more powerful than a locomotive.
00:04:49 You're lucky to be powerful enough to get through the day.
00:04:54 And that's the real reality of all of us who talk tough and act tough.
00:04:58 The real reality is we feel so vulnerable that we pretend to be strong
00:05:03 because we really don't want anybody to know how weak we really are.
00:05:08 And so we bring gravitas and gravity when the truth is on the inside we feel weakness
00:05:16 and we feel inadequacy and we feel insecurity.
00:05:19 The truth is this is where Israel is.
00:05:21 Can you imagine how they have no confidence?
00:05:24 They have spent the last 400 years being told that they don't have names,
00:05:29 that they don't have a home, that they're going to be slaves for the rest of their life.
00:05:33 They have been beaten.
00:05:34 They have been told that they have to build houses out of straw and stone.
00:05:38 They don't have a food supply system other than that which has been supplied to them
00:05:43 by the slave owner which means that the food only came when they performed.
00:05:47 Anybody tired of being in relationships where you're only given a substance
00:05:52 because you performed?
00:05:55 That you only respect me because I performed for you?
00:05:59 That you only honor me because I built something for you?
00:06:02 But if I'm not building, I'm not respected.
00:06:04 If I'm not giving, I'm not respected.
00:06:06 If I'm not doing what you want me to do, then I'm not respected.
00:06:09 This is where they are.
00:06:10 They feel insecure.
00:06:11 They don't have names.
00:06:12 They have been changed from people like Azariah, Mishael, and Belshazzar
00:06:18 to given names like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
00:06:21 And if nobody told you their names were Mishael, Azariah, Hananiah, and Belshazzar,
00:06:26 you wouldn't even know it.
00:06:27 You know why?
00:06:28 Because some of you all are living through life being called by things you are not,
00:06:32 but because you've been called that so long, you answer to it.
00:06:39 It's a cold world, and if you are not careful, it will run you over.
00:06:45 But the trials in our life are not as important as the way we respond to them.
00:06:54 See, the children of Israel have had varied natures and responses happen to them,
00:07:00 but their response has always been the same.
00:07:02 They've been in Egypt.
00:07:03 They've been to the Red Sea.
00:07:05 They've had moments where there was no water.
00:07:08 They had moments where they had no food.
00:07:10 They had all of these things happen to them, so this is not the same thing.
00:07:13 One time they get to a body of water, they can't get through it.
00:07:15 They need food, they can't get it.
00:07:17 They need water, they can't get it.
00:07:18 But here's the problem.
00:07:19 Even though their issues were multifaceted, their responses were always the same.
00:07:26 They complained.
00:07:29 And here is the problem with most people is that no matter what happens to you,
00:07:34 your response is always the same.
00:07:37 For some people, anger is always the solution.
00:07:41 For some people, shutting down is always the solution.
00:07:44 And let me tell you, the problem with only having one punch is you're easy to beat.
00:07:52 See, the mark of a great fighter is that no matter what the punch is,
00:07:56 he can deliver, whether it's an uppercut, whether it's a slip, or whether it's a jab.
00:08:00 See, the problem with most of us, all we have is a power punch.
00:08:04 It's a haymaker.
00:08:05 All you do every time somebody fights you is you cuss them out.
00:08:09 Come on, talk to me.
00:08:10 Don't you get quiet.
00:08:12 You got one hit.
00:08:13 You're a one-hit wonder.
00:08:14 And the problem is if you ever get up close of a devil who can take that one punch,
00:08:18 you in for a treat.
00:08:21 You're going to have to have different responses to the stimuli that happens in your life.
00:08:26 They had one thing.
00:08:27 They always murmured, the Bible says, they complained, they complained,
00:08:31 they complained, they complained, they complained.
00:08:34 And after they finished complaining, they complained.
00:08:38 Anybody know what it's like to be surrounded by complainers?
00:08:45 It's just ain't nothing good enough.
00:08:47 It's too hot in here.
00:08:48 Turn it down.
00:08:49 It's too cold in here.
00:08:50 Ain't nobody nice in here.
00:08:51 Ooh, why you being so nice?
00:08:52 That's too much.
00:08:53 Just can't be satisfied.
00:08:56 It's like a woman saying, "I want a nice guy," and then when she get a nice guy,
00:08:59 he too nice.
00:09:00 What do you want?
00:09:03 I want them nice but not too nice.
00:09:13 I want them nice, not nice, nice.
00:09:15 You know, no, nobody knows what that means.
00:09:24 Y'all here today?
00:09:28 After miles and miles of travel and days of thirst, God provides water out of a rock.
00:09:35 And just as the thirst subsides, they are faced and forced to fight.
00:09:42 The Bible says in verse 8, I say forced to fight because the Bible says in verse 8
00:09:46 that the Amalekites started the fight.
00:09:51 Now, you have to understand who the Amalekites are to understand how this works.
00:09:55 The Amalekites, listen, they were a group of people who are the descendants of Esau.
00:10:01 Now, for those of you all who don't read the Bible, let me give you this real quick
00:10:04 synopsis.
00:10:05 There were a set of twins that were born in the Old Testament.
00:10:08 One name was Jacob.
00:10:09 The other, his name was Esau.
00:10:12 And Esau was the oldest and had the birthright, but he was so trifling in his
00:10:18 ways that his brother offered him a bowl of gumbo.
00:10:26 I'm in the South, so I'm trying to put it in some language you can understand.
00:10:29 Offers him a bowl of lentil, a bowl of soup, and because he was hungry, he
00:10:35 abdicated his birthright in order for a bowl of soup.
00:10:39 So now we understand who they are fighting, and this is why you have to be
00:10:43 careful.
00:10:44 You have to always be careful when you fight people who have no priorities.
00:10:50 Because when people don't put themselves first, they cannot put you first.
00:10:55 So he abdicates his birthright.
00:10:58 He abdicates forever for right now.
00:11:01 If he had lived in his birthright, he would have been full for the rest of his
00:11:05 life, but because he was satisfied with right now, he gave up tomorrow for right
00:11:10 now.
00:11:11 And you have to be careful when you put your future on the line for somebody who
00:11:15 ain't thinking about theirs.
00:11:19 This is the trick of the enemy, to put you in a position where you have to force
00:11:25 or you're forced to fight somebody who has no tomorrow.
00:11:30 Forced to act a fool with somebody that the only loser can be you, because you're
00:11:35 the only one with a future.
00:11:37 You're the only one with the destiny.
00:11:39 You're the only one who has something to lose, and so the devil keeps filling your
00:11:43 life up with these people who have no future so that you will make a decision in
00:11:48 the present.
00:11:52 You cuss the wrong person out, you'll never work again.
00:11:57 You go in that office and have an attitude, you won't be able to get hired in the
00:12:01 town again.
00:12:02 You got to understand that don't nobody care where you from.
00:12:05 Nobody cares that you were born in the hood.
00:12:07 Nobody cares that you came from a house and you a sister and you had five brothers
00:12:11 and you know how to fight.
00:12:13 There are some people that you shouldn't fight even if you could win.
00:12:17 Y'all not listening to me today.
00:12:19 I know this ain't going to fit within our scope of conversation because some of us
00:12:24 have a one method, a monotone reaction.
00:12:28 You mess with me, I'm going to mess with you.
00:12:30 But you got to understand the text is about fighting, but it's about fighting the
00:12:34 right enemy because everybody who is fighting you ain't worth you fighting back.
00:12:42 The devil will have you so busy fighting the Egyptians that you won't have any
00:12:47 strength of the Amalekites.
00:12:48 You got to save your energy for the fight that matters.
00:12:54 You can't be on the internet responding to every comment.
00:12:59 You can't fight every teacher your child has.
00:13:02 You can't fight the kids that's fighting your kids after school.
00:13:06 Just teach your kids to fight so they can win.
00:13:11 As my brother said the other day, he says, "Most parents don't understand the
00:13:15 difference between enablement and empowerment."
00:13:20 When you fight your kids' battles, you enable them, which is why they keep
00:13:23 coming to you.
00:13:25 When you empower them, they come home and tell you, "Mama, let me tell you who I
00:13:28 whooped today."
00:13:30 You want to put your children, your family in the spirit, in a position that you
00:13:35 don't have to have a prayer meeting at the house to dismiss the devil out of your
00:13:39 house.
00:13:40 You want a 12-year-old that comes and say, "Mama, I put oil on my doorpost, and let
00:13:44 me tell you something.
00:13:45 I'm coming to anoint your room too."
00:13:47 Somebody shout, "Empowerment!"
00:13:54 Well, they're related to Esau, and these people have no morals.
00:14:00 The Bible says that they attack them from the back.
00:14:03 Why the back?
00:14:04 Because in a war, that's where you put your weakest people.
00:14:09 See, be very careful who you show your weaknesses to.
00:14:17 Even more, be careful who you give access to the doors you have unlocked,
00:14:25 because there are some people who will pretend to be a neighbor who will end up
00:14:30 being a robber.
00:14:32 You've got to be careful who you let see you when you're vulnerable,
00:14:36 because everybody who tells you they have your back, you'll look back,
00:14:41 and they'll be way back, stabbing you in the back.
00:14:46 Back stabbers.
00:14:49 The Amalekites come up from the rear, and they attack the vulnerable.
00:14:56 They attack the weak, and this is where it gets worse.
00:15:01 They attack them from the rear of the camp where the weak are, and they knew.
00:15:05 They knew they had just come out of Egypt, and they knew that they were thirsty.
00:15:10 They knew it.
00:15:12 Before you knew it, Israel was just swinging on people.
00:15:17 Now, there are some people in here right now, you'll be honest, just talk to me.
00:15:22 You ain't mean to go off like that.
00:15:25 They just got you at a vulnerable moment.
00:15:27 Come on, you was thirsty.
00:15:29 Come on, talk to me, somebody.
00:15:30 I don't know what adjective to put in there, but they came, and I just want to put
00:15:35 that out there because there are two types of people in the room.
00:15:38 There are the people who shut down, and they think they're better than the reactors.
00:15:44 Then there are people who react, but then they'll say, "But at least I'm consistent."
00:15:53 I know what I'm talking about.
00:15:55 How many of you all going to help me out in here today?
00:15:57 There's one group of people who they ready to fight no matter who it is,
00:16:03 and here's their excuse for being that crazy.
00:16:05 "Well, at least I'm consistent.
00:16:08 At least I don't hold grudges.
00:16:09 At least you know where I'm coming from."
00:16:13 Then you have another group of people, they just shut down, and then they think
00:16:18 they're better because they didn't react, but you can be violently silent.
00:16:26 My mom used to call it nice and nasty.
00:16:28 Anybody know somebody, "They ain't going off, but they going off."
00:16:36 Typically, those are the gas lighters so that they can sit back and let you blow up the house.
00:16:42 You got to understand your temperament because the devil knows your temperament,
00:16:46 and he will put you in a fight where you will lose if you're not aware of who you are.
00:16:55 Now, I want to say this.
00:16:57 Just look at your neighbor and say, "I might not fight how you fight.
00:17:02 You might not fight how I fight, but we're going to agree not to judge each other today.
00:17:08 Is that all right?
00:17:10 Can we agree on that?"
00:17:13 Because if you understood my enemy, you would know why I fought the way I fought.
00:17:17 If you understood my upbringing, you would understand that I tried not to do this,
00:17:22 but all my life, I kill them dead.
00:17:42 You told me so I beat him.
00:17:56 Don't come for me unless I sin for you.
00:17:59 When you see me fighting, know that I was forced to fight.
00:18:02 I don't bother nobody.
00:18:04 When you bother me, though, I don't know how to stop bothering you.
00:18:07 I'm just going to be petty up in here for a moment.
00:18:10 Anybody in here, I know you love Jesus and you got your Bible app on your phone,
00:18:14 but anybody in here, when you start fighting, you get petty, you start finding out stuff.
00:18:18 I mean, you get real nasty.
00:18:20 You bother they aunties, they mamas.
00:18:22 You want to take air out the tire?
00:18:27 Don't make me come down there.
00:18:28 I fight every one of y'all by myself.
00:18:30 Don't act like every time somebody bothers you, you go to, "Lord, touch my enemies
00:18:34 and be with them in the name of Jesus."
00:18:36 You'd be like, "Oh, you want to mess with me?
00:18:37 I'll put some lime in your water.
00:18:39 I'll make sure that you got hot sauce in your throat while you sleep and stab you,
00:18:44 come to the funeral and cry like I don't know what happened."
00:18:48 I know I'm talking to you.
00:18:50 I know I'm talking to you.
00:18:52 And yes, you got a corporate America job.
00:18:55 And yes, you got a title and an office and a window,
00:18:58 but you still got 10% hood left inside of you that if somebody come up against you,
00:19:04 you forget that you got a college degree.
00:19:11 Somebody in the back of the yard will say something.
00:19:12 I know y'all fight up there too.
00:19:13 Don't be sitting up there looking at me like you don't fight like us down here.
00:19:16 You fight.
00:19:24 When you fight, you get petty.
00:19:29 Just say stuff like that.
00:19:30 Oh, you fight somebody and you find out something.
00:19:33 Anybody petty, people just always saying something.
00:19:35 You know what I'm saying?
00:19:36 Oh, so now you're going to fight him.
00:19:38 Why don't you fight him like you tried to fight me?
00:19:42 You going to hit somebody, hit him while you're sitting up here looking at me like you're going to hit me.
00:19:49 Anybody vacillate between being a Christian?
00:19:56 Amazing grace.
00:19:57 Say something else.
00:19:58 Watch what happened.
00:19:59 I mean, just--who am I talking to?
00:20:06 How's your boy?
00:20:16 Listen, let me tell you something.
00:20:17 I don't know who you are, but I know you will fight.
00:20:19 She's like this.
00:20:20 She said--she said, "I wish this spoon was sharp.
00:20:25 I'll stab somebody right now."
00:20:32 You going to eat my cornbread.
00:20:37 All right, Kim, let me get back focus.
00:20:42 God is all in this.
00:20:48 Oh, my God, I wish I could tell you that you find out how much God loves you in a fight.
00:21:00 Prove it to you.
00:21:02 The way the children of Israel wanted to go to Israel, to the Canaan, to Canaan,
00:21:09 the route that would have been direct would send them through a land called Palestine or Philistines.
00:21:18 That's where Goliath is from.
00:21:20 The Philistines had a superior army.
00:21:24 Had they fought the Philistines when they came out of Egypt, there would be no Jews.
00:21:31 No, no, no, you don't understand what I'm telling you.
00:21:33 I'm talking about right now in the world.
00:21:36 If they had come through where the Philistines were, there would be no Jews.
00:21:42 They would have annihilated them from the earth.
00:21:46 God sent them, although it was a longer route.
00:21:49 He sent them through the Amalekites because although the Amalekites had an army, they were not strong enough to win,
00:21:56 which means that God loves you so much that he will adjust your fight to the level you can fight on.
00:22:04 Oh, you didn't hear me.
00:22:06 No, you're missing what I'm saying.
00:22:08 You don't understand that God never allows you to face an army that you can't beat.
00:22:15 God will adjust the war to your weakness,
00:22:21 which is why you can have the confidence that no matter what route you're on, you're going to win,
00:22:25 because if there is an army that can beat you, you'll never fight them because no weapon formed against me will be able to prosper.
00:22:39 The enemy you are facing, you have the ability to beat because God will adjust the war to your weakness.
00:22:54 The Amalekites, they couldn't annihilate them, but they could teach them a lesson.
00:23:02 You have to understand that this current battle you're in, this is not the fight.
00:23:07 This is the sparring partner.
00:23:11 God says, "I'm teaching you right now how to dodge a jab.
00:23:18 I'm teaching you right now how to slip a hook.
00:23:22 I'm teaching you right now."
00:23:24 This is not the fight of a lifetime.
00:23:28 This is the one that's getting you ready for the fight of a lifetime.
00:23:37 And I know you just came through the Red Sea, and I know you just got over a divorce and you don't feel like fighting,
00:23:45 and I know that you just got your heart broken and you don't feel like it right now,
00:23:49 and I know that the economy is messing with your job and you don't know what's next,
00:23:54 and I know that you had two incomes in the house and now you only have one,
00:23:58 and I know that you're dealing with insecurities, and God says, "This is the fight that you are meant to fight
00:24:05 so that when you get to the fight that you are meant to fight, you will learn from the fight that you were forced to fight."
00:24:18 Here is my question.
00:24:20 How many of you all are in a fight right now?
00:24:23 Here is my question.
00:24:27 Are you learning or are you whining?
00:24:38 Lord, what has got to be happening to me?
00:24:44 I've been serving you until the day I die.
00:24:48 I promised him that I'd--I've been tithing and I've been praying and I've been fighting,
00:24:54 and after all, I stand.
00:24:57 And Jesus, you won't even come and see about me, and Jesus says,
00:25:00 "You don't understand that I'm helping you flex muscles you're going to need for the future."
00:25:10 You have to understand that complaining is a bad look.
00:25:20 Stop complaining so much.
00:25:25 It is complaining that turns 13 days into 40 years.
00:25:34 Okay?
00:25:36 You ain't the only one going through something.
00:25:41 You don't understand.
00:25:43 I don't have to because I ain't got to go through it, but you don't understand what I'm going through either.
00:25:49 That's the fight you have to fight, but you don't have to fight the fight that I have to fight.
00:25:58 Stop complaining about it and just swing.
00:26:05 Do what you got to do to make sure that this fight doesn't follow you generation to generation.
00:26:15 Because the only reason why the Amalekites are still alive is because every generation that God spoke to
00:26:24 to annihilate them, including Saul, didn't annihilate them because most of us won't kill anything that we see benefit in.
00:26:36 So there was a benefit in the life, and so you kept it, but you got to understand that out of Amalek comes the giants that David fights.
00:26:44 So what happens is is when you don't kill a thing in its infancy, it becomes a giant.
00:26:53 Can I tell you something? Every big thing you fight in your life is something you didn't deal with when it was small.
00:27:00 Nothing was ever born a giant.
00:27:07 You have to have the courage to step on it and and you are being forced to fight now because if you don't fight now,
00:27:17 you will have a generational fight later and your children will be fighting an enemy that wasn't theirs.
00:27:27 See, this is trauma. This is what trauma is. Trauma is when a child has to fight a demon that was for the parent.
00:27:36 And when the parent doesn't kill it, especially those of us who grew up in the generation, what goes on in this house stays in the house.
00:27:44 And instead of having solutions, we got secrets. Oh, I will fight you. I don't care. You ain't got to say nothing.
00:27:50 Somebody ought to talk to me. See what we have to do is we've got to sit our children at the table and let them know these are the demons that fight us.
00:27:58 These are the demons that come after us. Your grandmama fought it. Your granddaddy fought it.
00:28:03 Your mama's fighting it. But in the name of Jesus, I'm going to fight this devil to make sure that you don't have to fight it.
00:28:13 Lord, it's going to be hard to hear today, but we're going to get there. Somebody say we're going to get there.
00:28:18 God told me to tell you that the first way you win a fight is you got to learn divine adjustments.
00:28:28 You have to learn other ways to fight.
00:28:34 Now, by a show of hands, how many of you all know you really fight one way and it's just it ain't it's dirty.
00:28:41 Yeah, you just just come on. You fight what you you get mad.
00:28:45 You cuss. You yell. You you you you call people to get people in trouble and then what happened?
00:28:55 Manipulation. Come on, talk to me. See, this is a problem with the church.
00:29:00 We love shouting about everybody else in. So if I sit up here and start naming some stuff, you don't do you be up here at the altar.
00:29:06 Yes, Lord, bless him. How come I shot her? And then when I start talking about your stuff, me.
00:29:20 You got some ways that ain't seeming right to God. Huh?
00:29:27 You got some stuff. What what would happen if I had the ability to take everything in your head and put it on the screen?
00:29:37 She said, don't do it, Reverend. Don't you don't even be that petty. Who said that? Don't even do it.
00:29:41 She said, I'm not even doing it. Matter of fact, I'm leaving.
00:29:49 As you know, sin isn't just what we do. It's also starts in our thought life.
00:29:55 So some of y'all thinking you can get 25 to life just off a thought.
00:30:03 I'm being messy. Let me move on. I'm sorry. Somebody say God is in this.
00:30:09 Somebody say God will adjust the war according to your weakness, which means sometimes when you see God changing the route,
00:30:20 it's him adjusting the war. You get it, Lauren.
00:30:25 So it's like you had it planned this way and then you see gossip. You like, why you do that?
00:30:30 You don't know what he's saving you from. You can't handle that enemy yet.
00:30:35 You ain't on that level yet. So I'm going to send you over here to win one.
00:30:40 You can win so you can get stronger. We going back because we coming for it all.
00:30:46 But you have to get there in a season when you're ready for it. Does this make sense?
00:30:55 So I'll use Kim for an example. Every time I hear him saying I watch him on Instagram and he's singing all over the world.
00:31:03 You got it. Y'all should get his book, Share My Life. Like you should read that story where it took him literally 20 years to become an overnight success.
00:31:12 That he was singing and singing and singing and nobody was coming and nobody was showing up and nobody was buying albums.
00:31:17 And now everybody looks at him like, oh, you sold you went platinum here. You went back.
00:31:20 But but but he could only go platinum in a season where he was ready to be platinum.
00:31:28 You see, God does you a disservice by allowing you to be platinum when you have a wood mentality.
00:31:38 See, there's no sense in God letting the world know you and you don't like people.
00:31:45 So sometimes it ain't about the artistry. It's about the skill set that that will sustain you on the level.
00:31:51 So you got to have all of these different fights. And then when you show God, you're ready to be attorney general.
00:31:59 Then God says you've been faithful over a few things.
00:32:05 Y'all gonna say man, I say out to say something. I need to know you here.
00:32:09 Tell your neighbor, don't have an attitude.
00:32:17 Y'all shouted last week, you're going to learn this week.
00:32:23 I like a church that's bilingual like this.
00:32:26 You want to praise God, but you also want to learn because let me tell you something.
00:32:30 Praise and don't break strongholds. If all we needed to do was praise, the devil wouldn't be attacking your family.
00:32:38 You got to have that word hidden in your heart that you might not send against him.
00:32:43 You got to know something. You got to get off the milk and get to the meat of the gospel.
00:32:48 So that way, when the devil tells you to turn stones into bread, you can say to him,
00:32:53 man should not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God.
00:33:00 Anybody excited about the word of God?
00:33:04 God says, because listen to this. Thank you, Holy Spirit.
00:33:07 He says, because I don't know who this is for.
00:33:10 Because you are amicable to divine adjustments.
00:33:18 I'm about to make you eligible for divine acknowledgement.
00:33:27 God told me to tell you that the gift that you have inside of you is no longer going to be a secret.
00:33:33 Because you've learned how to adjust and you're in a game with rigid people.
00:33:38 God says, I'm about to pick the people who didn't mind adjusting.
00:33:42 And I'm about to put your name out there. I'm about to put your company out there.
00:33:47 I'm about to put your brand out there.
00:33:49 I'm going to put you above people who've been in the game longer than you.
00:33:53 Because you adjusted, I'm about to acknowledge you.
00:33:56 Slap somebody and say, you're about to know my name in about three months.
00:33:59 You're going to know my name. You're going to look on Instagram, I'm going to be all over it.
00:34:03 You're going to look on LinkedIn, I'm going to be all over it.
00:34:05 You're going to look in the towers and my name is going to be on the top of it.
00:34:09 Because God's about to acknowledge me.
00:34:15 How do I know?
00:34:17 We are introduced to somebody we've never met. Come here, Joshua.
00:34:22 God says, Joshua, through Moses, Joshua, come here.
00:34:26 Joshua is just walking around like the rest of them, but he's adjusting.
00:34:31 And remember, we call it the Joshua generation.
00:34:34 The reason why Joshua's group got into the promised land and Moses' group was locked out?
00:34:41 Adjustments.
00:34:45 God killed everybody above 21 and prevented them from going into the promised land.
00:34:53 Why? Not because they were black, not because they were white, not because they were rich, not because they were poor, but because they couldn't adjust.
00:35:01 The quickest way to be locked out of destiny is the lack of adjustment.
00:35:07 Oh, you don't believe me? You don't believe me? Okay, I'll prove it to you.
00:35:13 Joshua, come here. You regular just like the rest of them, but I'm about to call you from being regular to in charge.
00:35:24 Moses says, I give you my army. Now lead them.
00:35:29 Do you know that when you have the ability to adjust, God will put your name on the mind of somebody who has authority?
00:35:41 And you'll go from being nobody to somebody in the matter of a moment.
00:35:49 You'll go from Robin Peter to pay Paul to being a millionaire.
00:35:56 You'll go from being unemployed to being a manager.
00:36:01 I don't know who this is for, but you better get ready for divine acknowledgement.
00:36:05 You better get ready for people to call you and offer jobs that you didn't even apply for.
00:36:16 Touch three people and say, God's about to acknowledge you. He's about to acknowledge you.
00:36:20 I prophesy divine acknowledgement in this room. I prophesy that your name is going to go above the people who've been working in the company for six years.
00:36:31 That God is about to give you the job with a GED and they can't get it with a PhD.
00:36:37 I speak divine acknowledgement. Touch somebody and say, I'm about to blow up. I'm about to blow up.
00:36:45 I'm about to blow up. I'm about and I ain't going to act funny. I'm not going to look down my nose at people.
00:36:51 I'm still going to have a great heart and a great personality because I know the good Lord give it and the good Lord take it away.
00:36:57 Blessed be the name.
00:37:05 Tell your neighbor, let me introduce myself.
00:37:09 I know what my mama named me, but let me tell you my new name.
00:37:15 My new name is Victory.
00:37:20 I'm Victory Henderson. I'm Victory Smith. I'm Victory this. I'm Victory that. Why?
00:37:26 Because all I do is win. Why? God is about to acknowledge me.
00:37:30 And let me put something on you right now for everybody in your family that looked down their nose at you because you made a mistake.
00:37:39 God says, I'm about to use you to redeem the family. Oh, I wish I had somebody in here.
00:37:48 Tell somebody I'm about to put my family on the map.
00:37:52 I'm doing it for my last name.
00:38:00 Hallelujah to the Lamb of God. I don't know who this is for, but God hasn't forgotten about you.
00:38:04 And I know you see everybody in front of you, but greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.
00:38:09 And it is not going to be many days hits where they're going to have to apologize for what they said about you.
00:38:20 Tell somebody I'm not a loser. I just lost. I'm not a failure. I just failed.
00:38:26 But I'm going to go from being the tail to the head. I'm going from the last to the first.
00:38:31 I'm going to go from beneath to above, and I'm going to go from the borrower to the.
00:38:41 Acknowledgement for those of you all who have always been last, get ready for God to flip the script.
00:38:51 I just want to see the people who've ever been looked over. Come on.
00:38:55 I want to see the people who've been looked over. You've been good for a long time. Nobody ever acknowledged it.
00:39:00 You've been nice a long time. Nobody ever acknowledged it. You've had talent a long time.
00:39:04 Nobody's ever acknowledged it. You've been doing art a long time, but nobody has ever acknowledged it.
00:39:11 They don't see your name in museums. We're going to drive down 59 and see the name of your business from the freeway.
00:39:20 God almighty, I don't know. I feel something about to happen in here.
00:39:24 All the people, there's a shift happening. All of the people that they know, they are getting ready.
00:39:29 There's going to come a time where there arises a Pharaoh that knows not Joseph.
00:39:40 Tell somebody, "I'm about to be important." No, don't say important.
00:39:44 I am about to be important. I want both Ts. Three of them. Important. I want three Ts.
00:40:02 And let me tell you, this is how you know God can use you. Watch his first function.
00:40:06 The first thing that Joshua does is go and get other men who Moses can trust.
00:40:15 You see, what you saw with Dwight, what you saw with me, what you saw with Ms. Kim, is unlikely alliances coming together for a purpose.
00:40:23 Can I tell you? Never, never elevate anybody in your life who doesn't have an appreciation for teamwork.
00:40:40 If they don't like teams, they cannot serve your vision, because where you're going, you're going to need more than you to get it done.
00:40:46 If they don't like teams, kick them off your team.
00:40:53 Oh, I'm going to talk in here today, because some of you all got friends who want to keep you to themselves,
00:40:58 and the moment you meet somebody, "I don't know about them. I don't know about them.
00:41:03 There's something about them that I just can't put my finger on it."
00:41:06 I know. Niceness. Teamwork. Kindness.
00:41:11 You want them to be a mean girl or a mean guy like you, and so anytime you bring anybody in the group that doesn't have the characteristics of the group,
00:41:18 they want to keep them out of the group because they don't want the group to change.
00:41:28 Never, and I mean never, elevate anybody who doesn't understand teamwork, because even people who play individual sports still have a team.
00:41:43 When Kim stands on the stage, it's just him, but there's a band. There's a booking agent. There's a talent agent.
00:41:51 There is all of that team, you see, and you got to understand that it's okay to be on the team and not be on the stage,
00:42:00 because I need a team that understands that by helping me achieve my goal, if we're the right team, I'm going to turn around and make sure that you reach.
00:42:13 Touch three people and say, "I'm on your side. I'm on your team. I'm on your side. I'm on your team.
00:42:17 What have I got to do to help you do what you do? Baby, I got your back, because when I win, you win.
00:42:23 When I move, you move. When I go up, you go up. When I scale, you scale. When I leverage, you leverage."
00:42:35 We have to do away with this crap in the barrel mentality or we will always be in Egypt.
00:42:46 Black people, lift one another. Lift each other. We kill our heroes and wonder why we have none.
00:43:07 You don't have to say nothing, because I'm on my soapbox right now. When you look at the landscape of politics right now, and I don't care what you think about Donald Trump,
00:43:19 whatever you think about him, at least the people who are going to vote for him are together.
00:43:25 We can't come together around nothing. That's how you win when you come.
00:43:37 Anything that comes together will always beat that which doesn't.
00:43:47 That was the power of the church, unity. That's the power of the family, unity.
00:43:57 Come together. Support one another. Speak well about one another.
00:44:03 When we get in the house, we fight, but when we come out of the house, it's us against them.
00:44:11 And who is them? Just so they don't take this on the Internet and make it wrong, who is them? Anybody who's against God.
00:44:23 If you're living in the world right now, they'll take 15 seconds and say you said something.
00:44:29 And that's an attack on unity.
00:44:35 Come together, black people.
00:44:39 Stop being jealous of one another. Stop tearing each other down.
00:44:45 You're talking about racism. Don't nobody have to be racist but us.
00:44:49 Listen, we don't like if you're too dark, if you're too light, if your lips too big, your nose too wide.
00:44:53 You think you better because your hair curly?
00:44:58 That is me and your grandma met somebody in Louisiana a few weeks ago. That don't mean nothing.
00:45:02 That don't make you better than me because my hair nappy and yours ain't.
00:45:13 We got to get our stuff together.
00:45:20 We got to open banks. We got to have credit unions.
00:45:24 We got to be able to compete in the global economy and in the market instead of always having to wait on somebody to give us something.
00:45:31 Build it yourself.
00:45:37 And then when you open it, be open.
00:45:46 How you got a business and you in Cancun every weekend?
00:45:52 You don't open a business.
00:45:58 Oh, Lord Jesus, I don't got an attitude.
00:46:14 Teamwork is the fuel that allows common people to do extraordinary things.
00:46:26 In fact, Andrew Carnegie said it this way. Teamwork is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.
00:46:35 Can I tell you something?
00:46:38 When you get acknowledged, can you please do me a favor?
00:46:43 Acknowledge somebody else.
00:46:49 Can you do that for your boy?
00:46:51 I'm serious as a heart attack right now.
00:46:55 When you get home, can you put somebody on?
00:47:01 I can point to it.
00:47:03 I don't brag about it.
00:47:05 But when we started this church, every entity that we started, I had somebody to start a business in that area.
00:47:14 And when we started this church, just like your Steve Jobs and everybody else.
00:47:18 Now, I don't have billions of dollars, but there are several people who are millionaires that started with me because I started their businesses with us.
00:47:27 And we're now all doing well together.
00:47:32 And they're operating in this room right now.
00:47:39 The owner of the security company that watches this business, he was doing T-shirts when I met him.
00:47:47 He was printing the T-shirts for this church.
00:47:49 I saw that he had a gift, helped him to open up.
00:47:52 See, I could have opened up the security company myself.
00:47:57 Teamwork.
00:48:02 The person who did our transportation, he was working at a company, driving me to the airport, making $25 an hour at the company, making $75, 30 minutes working with me.
00:48:13 I looked at him and said, "Let's do the math.
00:48:17 If you can make $75 off of me in 30 minutes, why would you go back and drop me off to make $25 an hour?"
00:48:23 Start a business, and he's a millionaire.
00:48:33 Teamwork makes the dream work.
00:48:43 Why am I preaching teamwork?
00:48:47 Because the fight that we're about to fight, you're going to have to make somebody got your six, your three, your nine, your 12.
00:48:55 You're going to have to be surrounded by people who know that their winning is attached to you.
00:49:09 The worst thing that ever happened to our people is we started saying stuff like, "I can do it by myself."
00:49:20 How many of y'all ever had that mentality?
00:49:22 If you got to get it right, done right, you just got to do it yourself.
00:49:26 The only problem is when you do it yourself, you can only do the thing you can do.
00:49:31 And what you need to do needs more than what you can do.
00:49:36 God says, "I need you to have a divine adjustment.
00:49:40 I'm going to give you divine acknowledgement."
00:49:42 And here's the other thing.
00:49:43 I need divine agility.
00:49:47 I need you to be ambidextrous.
00:49:49 I need you to have several different languages.
00:49:53 Moses says, "Pick men to fight."
00:49:55 The command is different this time because remember when they got to the Red Sea, he didn't tell them to fight.
00:49:58 He told them to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.
00:50:02 See, look at the agility.
00:50:04 I get to the sea, stand still.
00:50:06 I get to the Malachites, swing.
00:50:10 Adjustments, agility.
00:50:12 I get to the rock, what does God say?
00:50:14 Strike the rock and what?
00:50:15 Water will come out.
00:50:16 What does he tell them to do the next time he gets to the rock?
00:50:18 He tells them to stand still.
00:50:20 So you can't be unilateral in your response to the war you're having.
00:50:25 You got to have the right fight for the thing you're fighting.
00:50:31 And if you are hard-headed, you won't hear what God says about how to fight this war.
00:50:37 Everybody say divine agility.
00:50:39 A lot of people lack the ability to have multiplicity responses to multilingual situations.
00:50:48 You can't be frustrated about everything.
00:50:53 You can't be ready to quit every time.
00:50:58 You can't be mad.
00:51:07 God says, "Give me some agility.
00:51:12 Don't just be a shooter, be a passer.
00:51:18 Don't just play offense.
00:51:21 Play defense."
00:51:24 There's nothing wrong with mastering colloquialisms and having hood expressions
00:51:32 and slang and all that, but can you put together a collection of multisyllabic expressions
00:51:42 so that you can have a conversation with somebody who didn't grow up on your block?
00:51:49 And when you go back to your block, like, "What up, cuz?
00:51:52 My G, what up, fam?"
00:51:53 You can do all of that over here, but then you got to go to your conference table,
00:52:00 and you got to be able to have a conversation.
00:52:02 I'm going to say a lot of things up in here because you're not going to be happy with it,
00:52:06 but you can't just expect everybody to accept you the way you are in every room you walk in.
00:52:16 You need a red wig for the picnic, and you need a bob for the conference room.
00:52:31 I know y'all ain't going to like this.
00:52:33 I'm trying to show you how to be agile.
00:52:36 You got to be able to walk--listen, you got to be able to walk into the spot,
00:52:40 and everybody know that you come from a certain place,
00:52:44 and then you have to be able to walk in and walk differently,
00:52:47 and you have to be able to watch this in Rome do as the--
00:52:56 And you can't be at the board table chewing gum.
00:53:03 And you can't have a meeting with a grant writer and show up 25 minutes late.
00:53:12 Your beautician don't even play that.
00:53:14 Your beautician asks you to be on time even if she late.
00:53:25 She talking about, "You better be on time."
00:53:26 You get there on time, it's like, "Oh, I'm behind."
00:53:39 I'm doing good because I'm almost finished.
00:53:47 I'm going to read this part because this may be the most important part of our conversation.
00:53:56 God told Saul--are you listening to me?
00:54:02 Everybody pay attention.
00:54:05 On line, y'all pay attention.
00:54:07 Put them pancakes down.
00:54:08 I ain't finished.
00:54:11 You already eating.
00:54:12 I did not say your blessing.
00:54:14 I'm going to pray over your food later.
00:54:19 God told Saul to kill the Amalekites.
00:54:24 That's in 1 Samuel chapter 15.
00:54:29 Saul disobeyed God and the Bible says he spared some of them.
00:54:38 Samuel, who is the prophet--are you still with me?
00:54:43 Says in 1 Samuel chapter 15 verse 23, "Saul, because you have rejected the word of God,
00:54:53 he has rejected you from being king."
00:55:02 This is the most important thing I'm going to say today.
00:55:06 Saul did not lose the throne because he was evil.
00:55:15 Saul did not lose the throne because he tried to kill David.
00:55:22 Saul did not lose the throne because he was arrogant.
00:55:29 Saul lost the throne because he couldn't adjust.
00:55:36 The quickest way to lose your position is to be one-dimensional.
00:55:50 God can't use anybody who doesn't have another way of handling things.
00:56:06 Where'd that go, that church mouse?
00:56:07 Let me get him.
00:56:14 You see him, the church mouse?
00:56:15 Somebody's like, "Ah, no, I'm kidding."
00:56:20 They used to say, "The church gets so quiet, you can hear a mouse peeing on cotton."
00:56:28 The quickest way for you to lose the position that you're about to get is to get there and only know
00:56:37 how to do it one way.
00:56:45 You're going to have to learn to love those who hate you.
00:56:51 You're going to have to learn it.
00:56:53 You're going to have to learn how to be around people who irritate you without
00:56:58 showing it.
00:57:05 You're going to have to learn how to be around people who you can talk about but
00:57:10 don't say nothing about it until you get home because...
00:57:26 You're going to have to learn how to be hungry and not have an attitude.
00:57:43 You're going to have to learn to be broke and stop acting poor.
00:57:57 Otherwise, you can't be king.
00:58:02 Otherwise, you can't be queen.
00:58:04 Otherwise, you can't own it.
00:58:07 Otherwise, you can't be king.
00:58:14 Otherwise, you can't be queen.
00:58:19 Otherwise, you can't be king.
00:58:22 Otherwise, you can't be queen.
00:58:27 You're going to have to learn how to be king.
00:58:39 You're going to have to learn how to be king.
00:58:42 You're going to have to learn how to be king.
00:58:47 You're going to have to learn how to be king.
00:58:51 Some people think church is only good when they're shouting and slobber.
00:58:57 You one-dimensional Christian, to think that God can only show up in noise.
00:59:06 Do you think it was loud in the Garden of Eden when only Adam and Eve were there?
00:59:12 Because he is also the God of silence.
00:59:19 And God is good all the time.
00:59:27 I have just given you the most important statement in this entire message,
00:59:33 that Saul lost the kingdom because he was not agile.
00:59:40 Don't let the devil lock you into being one-dimensional.
00:59:46 Be hood and holy.
00:59:52 Don't lose it because some folks don't need a piece of it.
00:59:54 I suggest every Christian keep about 10% hood for the people who don't pray
00:59:58 so you can get with them, you know?
01:00:00 But other than that…
01:00:08 And God says, "Tell the people I'm going to give them divine assurance."
01:00:17 He says, "After I give them divine assurance,
01:00:21 last point, I'm going to give them divine associations."
01:00:31 Don't play yet.
01:00:32 We're going to get there, but you get the point.
01:00:34 And I'm going to give you the most important statement in this entire message,
01:00:39 that Saul lost the kingdom because he was not agile.
01:00:45 Don't let the devil lock you into being one-dimensional.
01:00:51 Don't lose it because some folks don't need a piece of it.
01:00:57 Give me another one. Come on up here.
01:00:59 I never read this. Stand right here.
01:01:00 One to my left, one to my right.
01:01:04 The Bible says that Aaron and Ur held up the hands of Moses.
01:01:11 Realize this.
01:01:12 Now, hold my arms up.
01:01:13 I thought it was like this.
01:01:15 Did you imagine this?
01:01:17 But the problem is, is if his arms are tired,
01:01:23 their arms are going to get tired.
01:01:25 The Bible says that they put a stone under Moses,
01:01:31 and that's how—hold my arms up now.
01:01:34 See, you can only receive help when you are lower than the helpers.
01:01:41 Oh, wow.
01:01:44 Oh, my God.
01:01:48 They won't get tired helping me because I'm so low
01:01:54 that they are helping me on their level of comfort.
01:01:58 See, when you are arrogant and you need help,
01:02:02 nobody can help you for long because it's too hard for them to help you
01:02:06 on a level where they have to stretch.
01:02:09 But if you'll just come down,
01:02:15 God will send you the divine help that you need.
01:02:19 The Bible says humble yourself.
01:02:25 The lower you go, the more help God will send.
01:02:33 You are too high, and God says, "I can't send help to my competition."
01:02:43 Where is your stone?
01:02:48 Because just because you're lower doesn't mean you're not in charge.
01:02:55 He came from heaven to a grave, and he was still God.
01:03:00 So you got to be so secure in who you are
01:03:03 that even if you're sitting on a stone, you know you've been called.
01:03:07 Touch somebody and say, "I know who I am."
01:03:09 Thank you, God.
01:03:16 Am I helping anybody?
01:03:20 I know you're all ready to go.
01:03:27 If you need to go, may the Lord watch between me and thee
01:03:30 while we're absent one from another.
01:03:32 In Jesus' name, amen.
01:03:34 And I'm serious.
01:03:35 If you need to go, you can go.
01:03:36 I'm going to talk to my people who want to stay.
01:03:38 I mean it.
01:03:39 I will not hold you hostage.
01:03:41 I'm not going to call you out.
01:03:43 If you need to go, go ahead.
01:03:47 But God told me to tell you he's about to send you your Aaron and your Irv.
01:03:53 Somebody who's going to help you hold up that thing.
01:03:56 But nobody is going to serve the vision of somebody
01:04:00 who doesn't have the right spirit.
01:04:05 You've got to humble yourself.
01:04:07 You don't get a company and start acting new and talking to people crazy
01:04:11 and start getting--you've got to get that out of your mind.
01:04:14 You are not a king.
01:04:15 You are a servant.
01:04:16 And the lower you go, the higher God will lift you.
01:04:19 Those who make themselves great will be made humble,
01:04:22 and those who make themselves humble will be made great.
01:04:24 That is the Word of God.
01:04:30 Before church started today, I went and stood in the position of everybody in this church.
01:04:38 I went out there to see what the ushers had to deal with.
01:04:40 I went in the booth where the production team is.
01:04:43 I looked at security. Why?
01:04:45 Because before I tell them what to do, I've got to know what they're dealing with.
01:04:52 Most of you all think you can do somebody else's job.
01:04:54 Try it.
01:04:56 Somebody building some stuff in your house right now, it don't take that long.
01:04:59 See, you ain't never had to measure nothing.
01:05:01 You ain't never had to go do--go try to do what a carpenter does,
01:05:03 and you'll find out you can't do it in two days.
01:05:11 Walked in the production room.
01:05:13 They turned the lights off.
01:05:14 They said, "Pastor, we need a light in this room."
01:05:16 See, I've heard them say it before, but I didn't know what that meant.
01:05:19 Now that I go in the room, I see it's dark.
01:05:21 How are you going to do something if you can't see?
01:05:26 Now I can make a divine--I ain't send nobody.
01:05:31 I went to see it for myself.
01:05:32 The problem is that some of you all will send people who won't bring the right story back
01:05:39 because they've got an attitude with somebody that you need to help,
01:05:41 and so they're going to make that person suffer because they've got access to you.
01:05:44 Be careful with the people who've got access to you.
01:05:46 See, the people who have access to you will have you seeing things their way.
01:05:50 You've got to get in the trenches and go to the back door and find out what's going on yourself
01:05:54 because sometimes the problem ain't the back door.
01:05:56 Sometimes it's the front row.
01:06:19 Kim, you've got to go.
01:06:21 Don't Kim have another church to go to?
01:06:22 I don't want to hold you, sister.
01:06:24 You can go.
01:06:25 You're fine.
01:06:26 They're used to me just doing whatever I want to do.
01:06:29 She said we're listening.
01:06:30 All right, let's go, girl.
01:06:31 Let's get it.
01:06:32 Let's go.
01:06:37 Everybody got your flag?
01:06:41 You ain't get one?
01:06:45 Uh-oh.
01:06:46 Y'all got some tissue?
01:06:47 Give somebody some tissue.
01:06:50 Oh, you got…
01:06:54 She got a Kleenex.
01:07:02 Let me show you something.
01:07:04 Let's bring up verse 14 so that they can see it.
01:07:10 Woo, thank you, Holy Spirit.
01:07:14 The Bible says in verse 14 that God told Moses, he says, "And rehearse it in the ears of Joshua."
01:07:21 Rehearse it.
01:07:22 It's like, come here, Destiny.
01:07:23 He said, "Rehearse it in the ear of Joshua."
01:07:27 In other words, tell Joshua all of your secrets so that he actually can win.
01:07:35 You see, have you ever dealt with people, they just want to spoon feed you the game
01:07:41 so you have to keep coming back to them?
01:07:43 He says, "No, this is what I am praying.
01:07:45 I am praying that God sends you somebody who will take everything they have in them
01:07:53 and put it in you.
01:07:55 I don't know who this is for, but God, I prophesy and I ask you on behalf of my faithfulness,
01:08:00 hook my sons and daughters up with people who will bring the game and put it on."
01:08:10 It's not three people saying, "Put me on, dog.
01:08:11 Put me on.
01:08:12 Put me on.
01:08:13 Put me on.
01:08:14 Tell me what you know.
01:08:15 Tell me what you don't know.
01:08:16 Tell me the pitfalls.
01:08:17 Tell me how to get there, because when I get there, we're all going to get there."
01:08:28 I'm asking God to send you people who will whisper secrets in your ears.
01:08:33 He says, "When you put money over here, I'm telling you, I know somebody who told me that's
01:08:37 going to flip 30 times in the next 30 days, and so I want you to put $100,000 here so
01:08:42 it can be $2 million here, or I want you to put $5 over here and it'll be $800 here."
01:08:47 I'm asking God to send you somebody who will sit in your barber chair and start whispering
01:08:52 to you what God wants you to do next.
01:09:00 Somebody shout, "God, show me the secret.
01:09:02 Show me the secret, God.
01:09:04 I've been on this level too long.
01:09:06 I've been scraping too long.
01:09:07 I'm ready for the next dimension."
01:09:13 I'm asking God to send you somebody who will literally download themselves into you.
01:09:20 That's what a mentor is.
01:09:21 A mentor is somebody who gives you what they have and saves you 10 years on the process.
01:09:27 I'm asking God to send us somebody who will save us 10 years on our journey.
01:09:40 That thing going to flip so fast for you, they're going to wonder who she sleep with
01:09:45 to get there.
01:09:46 I'll tell you, the Holy Ghost.
01:09:49 My Bible, that's who I slept with.
01:09:51 I slept with AirPods in my ears.
01:09:54 I slept with a book on my chest.
01:09:56 I slept with the Bible on the other pillow.
01:09:59 I didn't sleep with nobody.
01:10:00 I basked in the presence of God.
01:10:09 Thank you, Holy Ghost.
01:10:14 Divine associations.
01:10:17 God is getting ready to hook you up with people who are going to hook you up with people who
01:10:20 are going to hook you up with people who are going to hook you up with people who will
01:10:26 fly from Atlanta to Anguilla for a nine-hour journey with 24 hours to go, only to have
01:10:31 to go back and sing in Houston and go to Grand Prairie in the morning and sing and come back
01:10:36 to Houston to be with you.
01:10:38 Divine associations.
01:10:46 There's a difference between somebody who loves you and somebody who shows you they
01:10:48 love you.
01:10:52 I ain't talking about no manipulation.
01:10:53 I don't need nothing from you.
01:10:54 You don't need nothing from me.
01:10:55 We just need to be there for each other.
01:10:57 If you down, I'll lift you up.
01:10:59 If I'm down, pick me up.
01:11:00 That's all to it.
01:11:07 I don't know what else to do.
01:11:10 I'm stuck right here where I am.
01:11:12 I'm stuck.
01:11:13 I'm stuck.
01:11:16 I won't let you go, but I ain't ready.
01:11:19 I know you got to go, but you ain't leaving because I still got more fire to throw at
01:11:24 you.
01:11:25 You've been in hell too long.
01:11:26 You've been going around the same mountain long enough, and you think God going to deliver
01:11:30 you with a 45-minute sermon?
01:11:32 You've been through trauma for the last 40 years.
01:11:34 You need God to get in there and unearth some stuff so that you can walk into your destiny.
01:11:45 Come by here, good Lord.
01:11:46 Come by here.
01:11:47 Come by here, good Lord.
01:11:48 Come by here.
01:11:49 Come by here, good Lord.
01:11:50 Come by here.
01:11:51 Everybody, hold up your banners.
01:11:55 Why do I have you holding up your banners?
01:11:58 Because it was now time for them to fight.
01:12:01 Do you have one for me?
01:12:02 Somebody give me one real quick.
01:12:04 Sorry.
01:12:05 Thank you.
01:12:06 Thank you, bro.
01:12:07 That's him.
01:12:08 He'll always go without to make sure that I have.
01:12:09 That's my brother, Shannon.
01:12:10 Listen, Joshua said, "Hold up the banner."
01:12:18 This is crazy, because I was going to preach this last week, and my wife and Markeet and
01:12:21 them had this.
01:12:22 I didn't even know.
01:12:23 I'd never seen this until I walked into the church.
01:12:28 See, the Bible says that Moses told Joshua, "Hold up the banner."
01:12:37 Why?
01:12:38 Because the banner shows you what side you're on.
01:12:42 Y'all remember Francis Scott Key?
01:12:46 He wrote The Star Spangled.
01:12:48 That's why every military person has a flag on their shoulder or on their chest.
01:12:55 Why?
01:12:56 It's because the banner shows you the difference between the enemy and the friend.
01:13:01 I want you to look around, that everybody who has one of these, this doesn't say, "Oh,
01:13:07 Lord."
01:13:08 Y'all didn't even tell me.
01:13:09 You tried to?
01:13:10 It was like, "He turned it."
01:13:14 Notice, this doesn't say, "The Lighthouse of Humble on mine and the Lighthouse of Houston
01:13:21 on yours," and notice that my letters are capitalized and yours are not lowercase.
01:13:28 Everything on the banner is exactly the same.
01:13:32 Every time we lift the banner, we're showing the devil we might not be perfect, but we
01:13:40 together.
01:13:44 The Scripture says that when they lifted the banner, that the praisers, come in Jehoshaphat,
01:13:53 went before the war and they lifted their banners and started to praise God.
01:14:00 The Bible says that when they lifted that banner and they began to praise God in the
01:14:06 days of Jehoshaphat, when they got to the place where it was time to fight, the enemy
01:14:13 had already died.
01:14:18 Because when the enemy see 20,000 people coming under the same banner, they'll commit suicide.
01:14:25 You're not here with me.
01:14:27 God told me to tell you that everything that has come up against us will be dead before
01:14:32 you have to fight it.
01:14:34 Oh, I wish I had somebody who'll send a praiser.
01:14:39 Somebody send a praiser.
01:14:41 Send a praiser.
01:14:43 Send a praiser.
01:14:45 Send a praiser.
01:14:54 Somebody send a praiser.
01:14:57 Somebody send a praiser.
01:14:59 I said somebody send a praiser.
01:15:02 Give your neighbor a high five and shout neighbor, we are on the battlefield for the Lord.
01:15:12 And I promised him that I would serve him until I die.
01:15:19 I am on the battlefield for the Lord.
01:15:25 Give your neighbor a high five and shout neighbor, this fight is for your son.
01:15:33 This fight is for your daughter.
01:15:37 And if you are too tired, go on and put your arms down.
01:15:42 I'll wave it on your behalf.
01:15:46 Are y'all praying with me here?
01:15:48 Do y'all feel it?
01:15:50 I've got an announcement.
01:15:53 Where do you stand?
01:15:55 Who's on the Lord's side?
01:15:58 Can I find somebody who will shout I'm on, I'm on, I'm on, I'm on the Lord's side.
01:16:11 Are y'all praying with me?
01:16:14 Can I put those hands together and begin to clap?
01:16:18 Because the Bible says that when we clap, we summon angels.
01:16:24 Can I get somebody who will begin to clap until the devil gets mad?
01:16:30 Who will begin to clap until tumors dry up?
01:16:34 Who will begin to clap until ovarian cancer is gone?
01:16:38 Who will begin to clap until there's no more breast cancer, no more lupus, no more hypertension, no more diabetes?
01:16:47 I come up against back pain.
01:16:49 I come up against cysts.
01:16:51 I come up against thyroid.
01:16:53 I come up against the devil.
01:17:00 And devil, you should have left me alone, but I have been forced to fight.
01:17:09 These are my kids.
01:17:11 This is my wife.
01:17:13 This is my peace.
01:17:15 This is my joy.
01:17:17 This is my happiness.
01:17:23 Hey!
01:17:28 I feel some Dr. Schiff. I said I feel some Dr. Schiff. I said I feel some Dr. Schiff. I said I feel some Dr. Schiff. I said I, I feel some Dr. Schiff. Tell your neighbor, say neighbor you're gonna have to give me some room because I just had a flashback.
01:17:54 When I think of the goodness of Jesus and he's done for me, my soul says yeah. Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
01:18:13 I feel glory in this section. I swear I feel glory in this section. I feel God about to trouble the water. I feel the angel about to trouble the water. Come on, keep your banners up. You ain't tired yet. You got too much to do.
01:18:40 Watch this. Put your banner down. Who doesn't have one? Everybody who has one, give it to somebody who don't. Now, the person you gave it to, look at them in the eye and say neighbor, God told me to ask you a question.
01:19:07 Now that you have one, what you gonna do with it? Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
01:19:31 Tell them I got your back. I'mma use your banner for your family. I'mma use your banner for your miracle. I'mma use your banner!

01:22:37 There is nothing we cannot do together
01:22:51 There is not an enemy we cannot defeat
01:22:56 Let's preach it together
01:23:04 Stay by yourself all you want, you will not reap the harvest that God has for you
01:23:11 Adaptability, adjustment, you see?
01:23:15 Instead of making everything have to adjust to you, sometimes you have to adjust to it
01:23:21 You see?
01:23:23 I'm not saying that you won't have any problems, I don't, because I have them
01:23:30 I'm not saying you won't have, thank you Holy Spirit
01:23:34 I'm not saying you won't relapse because you're going to mess up again
01:23:39 This is not about perfection, this is about progress
01:23:45 You're not going, don't get, well, yeah, get disappointed in yourself when you don't reach the mark
01:23:51 But don't give up on yourself when you don't
01:24:02 Sometimes you're going to react out of anger and frustration, you're not going to be proud of yourself
01:24:07 But let me tell you something
01:24:12 Eventually you're going to fill yourself with so much good energy
01:24:17 And positivity that you'll notice that the occurrences, they just, it just gets longer and longer
01:24:23 It used to be every other day, and now it's every other week, and now it's every other month
01:24:28 And you're going to keep working on it, and before you know it, it'll be every other year
01:24:32 And before you know it, you will have such a transition in your mentality that you will not want to be who you were
01:24:41 See, sir?
01:24:46 I've been preaching all of my life
01:24:49 I wish I was better than I am
01:24:53 I do, I just, I wish I just
01:24:57 Sometimes could control the anger that will come in my mind or
01:25:05 The frustration that I will have with the task
01:25:08 Sometimes I wish I had a little more patience
01:25:12 But I'm getting there, I'm getting there
01:25:14 And the only reason why I'm putting myself out there is because
01:25:17 You have to understand, somebody who studies the word of God
01:25:21 Somebody who's been preaching since 14, somebody who's been passionate since 21
01:25:25 I'm taking all the excuses away, this is not about no super saint stuff
01:25:30 Ain't no manual where you just, you read these pages and all of a sudden you get what nobody else has
01:25:36 We all got to take this thing step by, we got to have small steps
01:25:41 Listen, he told us yesterday, we got to have small steps for big goals
01:25:48 But doing it this way has never worked
01:26:01 This
01:26:09 And a little of this
01:26:12 Can defeat anything
01:26:20 If you are here today
01:26:30 And you don't have a this
