00:00 Leon, thanks for joining us again. Obviously, just having a quick word here about Leeds
00:12 United. Had a great win in the FA Cup last week down at Peterborough. Sort of great for
00:18 them to get a win on the road. It's been a bit difficult for them on the road this season.
00:22 They're away again this Saturday down at Cardiff. Never an easy game. Their confidence will
00:28 have been significantly lifted by what happened in Peterborough, won't it?
00:32 Yeah, I think so, Phil. I mean, they're one of the better sides in the lower divisions.
00:37 You sort of look historically at Peterborough and they've sort of switched a little bit,
00:41 a bit of a yo-yo club almost, between League One and the Championship. You know, a bit
00:45 akin to Barnsley and Rotherham, really. And obviously, you know, Farquhar had spoken ahead
00:51 of it. You know, he basically bracketed Peterborough along, you know, as good as a side in the
00:56 sort of bottom half of the Championship. So, yeah, it was quite a tough gig before and
01:04 it had that look of it, didn't it? And yeah, an excellent performance. I think he got everything
01:08 he wanted out of it. But, you know, the trick now is following it on, you know, in the league
01:14 away from home, isn't it? Obviously, Leeds, you look at the record, they've only won five
01:20 away league games this season. They've lost six. So, you know, it's an area that Farquhar
01:26 will be wanting to address. Little things haven't quite dropped for them in the last
01:30 sort of two league games on the road. They dominated the possession against West Brom.
01:38 Things went against them. They had a couple of penalty calls that, you know, on another
01:42 day could have been given. And obviously, they're sending off in the Preston game. So,
01:48 he just told that the confidence that they've got from obviously winning at Peterbrook and,
01:54 you know, psychologically, it can be taken in the game at Cardiff. It's, yeah, as you're
02:00 right to say, it's a tough venue for Leeds and they've had some sticky results once or
02:06 twice there. If they can get a win and a good performance, that will really show that they're
02:12 sort of getting their act back together, you know, on the road, because that's what really
02:16 needs to be addressed, because they're pretty impregnable at home, aren't they? They'd won,
02:21 I think it was seven in a row, wasn't it, before the Coventry game. And, you know, fair
02:25 play to Coventry. They played well on the day and got a draw. But, you know, after that,
02:29 Leeds have won, obviously, dispatched Ipswich pretty well and Birmingham. So, it really,
02:35 you know, to anybody looking at Leeds' statistics this season, you know, the issue isn't at
02:40 Helen Road, it's away from home. And, you know, Farke is an astute manager and, you
02:48 know, he'll know that as well. You know, that ratio of wins will need to improve if Leeds
02:54 are going to have a little, you know, a sniff of second place. And at the minute, there's
02:58 a bit of encouragement with Ipswich, who are having a little bit of a difficult time, aren't
03:03 they? I was going to say, essentially, the away form is what's going to dictate whether
03:06 Leeds finish second or in the play-offs. Yeah, yeah. But they can do it, Phil, can't they?
03:10 You look at them, you know, for the defeats, the Fard obviously lost at Sunderland, didn't
03:16 get three points at Rotherham. They've won at Leicester, they've won at Ipswich and they've
03:21 won at, you know, other difficult venues, Millwall, Blackburn as well. So, you know,
03:26 they've shown that they have the wherewithal to do it, they can do it, but they've just
03:31 got to find that balance, that consistency. And, you know, that's why I believe, obviously,
03:37 the victory at Peterborough, although he did make some changes, it should stand them in
03:42 good stead.
