00:00 So well I switched out to the new Schrickson driver this year. I've been using the Schrickson
00:06 driver since 2019 so this is my third different model of it so I feel like every year they keep
00:11 getting better. The two fairway woods I've had I've had for four or five years at this stage
00:16 so I don't like changing my equipment too much. My irons I put them in at the end of last year
00:23 it's just a new model iron the Schrickson I've come out with I think they're pretty similar to
00:27 last year's if anything they're probably feeling a little bit more solid. Yeah like I said I don't
00:31 like changing my equipment too much so when I find something I like I like to keep it. What happens
00:35 when one of the guys comes up with new equipment and he wants to buy a new driver and what happens
00:40 then do you give it a go? So if it's a new if Schrickson come out with a new product I'll
00:44 do my absolute best to get it in the bag and I'm generally pretty good at it and they know that
00:48 so there hasn't been a time since I've started using the Schrickson driver that I've struggled
00:52 to get in the bag so hopefully they can keep coming out with good drivers and I can do them.
00:56 What about your wedge line up? I just carry I carry three a pitch wedge but that's part of the
01:01 set but I carry a gap wedge it's a 50 degree bent 51 and I've got a 58 degree full face
01:08 cleveland wedge so it's there's a big gap there but I try putting in a sand wedge like a 55 or
01:14 56 degree and I find it takes away the feel from me a little bit and I end up hitting every shot
01:21 full out whereas when I've got that gap I can kind of play around with it a little bit more and
01:26 be creative and that's that's how I like it. Do you tweak with the the line up as a whole too much
01:30 on a on a week like this? Never no this is my this has been my this has been my setup for a few years
01:37 now I had a two iron say I would have had a two iron in the bag in Portrush but to be honest the
01:42 new long irons the three iron is is as good as a two iron and you know I can hit that low and it
01:47 goes pretty good so there's no there's no point having a two iron that goes five or ten yards
01:52 further you just you know I've got a five wood and a three wood and what's your longest iron is a
01:56 three iron yeah. Is that quite rare these days to players many players hitting three iron? I would
02:01 say yeah but the way they build a club now they're designed to hit in the air like that's rare and I
02:05 can hit really in the air but I can also hit really low as well and like a stinger shot with it it goes
02:09 pretty good in the wind so. So that bag line up there the exact same every week? Yeah I don't
02:16 know when you're playing in America Nick? Well I played in America too easy on that that's what it
02:20 is so yeah. And what's it like being in Florida I remember speaking to you a couple years ago? Yeah
02:24 I like it it's great look it's a great way of life down there to be honest I feel like it's helped
02:28 improve my game I spend a lot of time with world-class players down there playing golf and
02:32 yeah yeah it's it's it's a great great place to practice you know I think I love Ireland and I
02:39 love being there and I'd love to live there but I just can't get done in Ireland like you get done
02:44 in Florida so I I hadn't been home since Christmas I got back last week for the first time so
02:49 yeah I don't get I don't get home as much as I would like. Cool there's gonna be a lot of
02:52 demands on your time now you're back in the UK this week thanks for speaking to us. No problem, pleasure having you.
