Rhesus O - album Rhesus O 1971

  • 7 mesi fa
Sole album by French jazz-prog rock band Rhesus O from the suburbs of Paris. Seven piece band with somewhat of a unique lineup as there were three bass players and often two of them played together and two keyboardists playing electric piano and organ. Loose jazz, smooth psychedelic rock and intense fusion. The sound ranges from dreamy interplays to power solos, ethereal sax lines and sinister Hammond organ waves, depressive flute parts, progressive overtones and psychedelic explorations. After the dissolving of Rhesus O, Asseline and Moze joined Magma.

Francis Moze - electric bass, acoustic guitar, xylophone.
Jean-Pol Asseline - electric piano, harpsichord..
Alain Monier - organ, percussion.
Alain Hatot - soprano saxophone, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, flute.Serge Lenoir - electric bass.
Thierry Blanchard - drums, timbales, percussion.

guest Guy Pedersen - double bass, electric bass.
