00:00 It was late that Sunday evening, and the disciples were gathered together behind locked doors
00:05 because they were afraid of the Jewish authorities.
00:09 Then Jesus came, stood among them.
00:13 Peace be with you.
00:15 After saying this, he showed them his hands and his side.
00:26 The disciples were filled with joy at seeing the Lord.
00:31 Jesus said to them again,
00:33 Peace be with you.
00:35 As the Father sent me, so I send you.
00:39 Then he breathed on them.

01:00 Receive the Holy Spirit.
01:03 If you forgive people's sins, they are forgiven.
01:09 If you do not forgive them,
01:13 they are not forgiven.

01:31 One of the twelve disciples, Thomas, called the twin,
01:35 was not with them when Jesus came.
01:40 So the other disciples told him, We have seen the Lord.
01:46 Unless I see the scars of the nails in his hands,
01:50 and put my finger on those scars,
01:53 and my hand in his side,
01:55 I will not believe.
01:58 A week later, the disciples were together again indoors,
02:09 and Thomas was with them.
02:12 The doors were locked, but Jesus came and stood among them.
02:17 Peace be with you.
02:23 Put your finger here, and look at my hands.
02:26 Then reach out your hand and put it in my side.
02:36 Stop your doubting and believe.
02:39 My Lord, and my God.
02:44 Do you believe because you see me?
02:55 How happy are those who believe without seeing me.
03:04 In his disciples' presence, Jesus performed many other miracles,
03:08 which are not written down in this book.
03:11 But these have been written,
03:13 in order that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah,
03:17 the Son of God,
03:19 and that through your faith in Him, you may have life.
