00:28 Samsung could be following Apple's lead by giving the Galaxy S24 Ultra titanium sides.
00:33 Titanium isn't just tougher than aluminum, it should result in a lighter design with
00:37 the S24 Ultra tipped to weigh 8.21 ounces versus 8.25 for the previous model.
00:43 Yes, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is even lighter at 7.8 ounces, but it doesn't have a built-in
00:48 stylus like the S24 Ultra likely will.
00:52 The rumored Galaxy S24 Ultra color should be more vibrant than this, with black and
00:55 titanium gray, but also violet and yellow.
00:58 We could also see exclusive online colors like orange, light blue, and light green.
01:04 The biggest upgrade by far to the Galaxy S24 Ultra should be generative AI, and Samsung
01:08 has teased multiple features that will hopefully make your life easier.
01:11 For example, AI Translate Call will allow you to call someone who speaks another language,

01:19 Other generative AI features are on the way as well.
01:22 Samsung Gauss, the generative AI model developed by Samsung Research, will be able to help

01:28 The AI can also generate and edit images, as well as convert low-res images to high
01:33 resolution.
01:34 If this sounds like a lot like the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, you're not alone.
01:38 But hopefully Samsung is doing a lot more here than just playing catch-up.
01:41 There's a rumor that Samsung could lock some AI features behind a paywall, but that
01:45 would be dumb, and I don't believe it.
01:49 The Galaxy S24 Ultra will likely stick with a 6.8-inch OLED display, but there could be
01:53 plenty of other upgrades under the hood.
01:55 First, the leaker Ice Universe says that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will reach a peak brightness
02:00 of 2500 nits compared to 1750 for the S23 Ultra.

02:06 The S24 Ultra is also tipped to get a refresh rate boost from 120Hz to 144Hz.
02:12 This could be an awesome upgrade for those who like to play the latest games, and we
02:15 could see a lot more console titles ported to phones just like this.
02:20 The camera rumors for the S24 Ultra have been all over the place, but there are plenty of
02:25 exciting tidbits.
02:26 For one, the main 200MP camera could get a bigger sensor that's brighter to compete
02:32 with the best camera phones.
02:34 But the biggest buzz is around the S24 Ultra's zooming capabilities.
02:37 We could see Samsung switch from dual 10MP 3x and 10x telephoto zoom lenses to a 10MP
02:44 3x telephoto and a sharper 50MP 5x zoom lens.
02:49 That sounds like a downgrade in terms of zooming power, but Samsung could make up for that
02:53 with the resolution bump and use pixel binning to achieve optical-level quality.
03:00 This is not official, but Samsung has revealed new zoom-anyplace camera tech that could easily
03:05 find a home inside the S24 Ultra.
03:07 It uses a combination of a 200MP sensor and AI to improve zooming capabilities.
03:13 For example, AI can keep your subject in frame at all times without having to tap on the
03:18 display and you'll be able to record zoomed-in and full-frame shots simultaneously at 4K
03:26 resolution.

03:30 The Galaxy S24 Ultra should have a very powerful new chip in the new Snapdragon 8Gen3 running
03:35 the show.
03:36 It has its own AI engine for generative AI and it enables night mode for video.
03:40 Samsung could once again get an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8Gen3 to offer the
03:44 fastest performance of any Android phone.
03:46 We're talking at least a 30% performance boost for the CPU and the Adreno GPU could
03:51 get a 25% performance boost versus the Snapdragon 8Gen2.
03:56 And gamers will appreciate a 40% improvement to ray tracing performance for more realistic
04:00 lighting in games.
04:02 And another rumor points to as much as 16GB of RAM on the S24 Ultra, which would be a
04:06 big jump from the max of 12GB on the S23 Ultra.
04:11 So what about battery life?
04:12 Samsung is rumored to bring new stacked battery technology to the Galaxy S24 Ultra along with
04:18 an improved cooling system so you could see more power in the same amount of space.
04:23 Another plus is that the S24 Ultra is tipped to upgrade from 45W charging to faster 65W
04:30 charging.
04:31 This would help it get closer to the upcoming OnePlus 12 and blow away the iPhone 15 Pro
04:36 Max's 20W charging.
04:38 At least Apple has USB-C now.
04:42 I'm actually excited to see how the Galaxy S24 Ultra can shake up the phone landscape.
04:46 The AI capabilities alone could put the iPhone on notice, while the faster refresh rate, zoom
04:51 camera upgrades and faster charging could make this the flagship to beat.
04:55 I just hope Samsung doesn't raise the price as it adds titanium as $1,200 is already pretty
05:01 pricey and the same as the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
