00:09 The company behind plans to build a large arena in Edinburgh have said they plan to put on more
00:15 than 150 shows a year if proposals are approved. AEG, which also operates the O2 Arena in London,
00:23 plans to build the arena behind Edinburgh Park train station after years of residents calling
00:28 for a larger event space in the city. Edinburgh councillors have voted against being served a
00:35 plant-based lunch in celebration of Veganuary. It comes after the local authority set out plans to
00:41 cut down meat and dairy consumption in schools and council buildings to help meet climate targets.
00:46 And finally, across Scotland there are hundreds of rescue dogs looking to find their forever homes
