Columbia, MS EF3 Tornado - December 23, 2014

This largely forgotten but locally devastating tornado outbreak struck Louisiana, southern Mississippi and Georgia on December 23, 2014. It's largely overshadowed by the December 2015 outbreak that struck the same region exactly a year later, though the worst of the 2015 event occurred farther north in North Mississippi and Tennessee. This rain-wrapped EF3 tornado killed three people and injured 50 others as it struck the south side of the town of Columbia, MS.
