00:00 The biggest gadget show on the planet is about to get underway in Las Vegas.
00:06 More than 4,000 exhibitors are showing off new technology that will touch almost every
00:13 aspect of our lives for years to come.
00:16 Yeah, so yesterday I had a chance to talk with tech lifestyle economist Jennifer Jolly
00:20 about what is coming to us in the tech world.
00:24 Take a look.
00:27 Jennifer Jolly, who is looking very chilly but in one of the hottest spots right now
00:34 in the world.
00:36 You're at the big game for tech.
00:38 Let's talk about this because this is awesome.
00:41 Yeah, CES.
00:42 I mean, this is where we see the gadgets that will shape our lives for years to come.
00:48 There's the equivalent of 43 football fields filled with new tech and gizmos and doodads,
00:54 all the wild flying cars, everything you could possibly imagine.
00:58 But I feel like they should change the name of the show to CEAIS because AI is in everything
01:05 this year, including the latest banner televisions.
01:09 This is one that Samsung just unveiled, the flagship 65-inch Class Q900D Neo QLED 8K TV.
01:16 Yeah, it's a mouthful, but the list of features even longer.
01:21 That picture quality here, mind-blowing sound, all thanks to the latest AI Gen 3 processors
01:27 that are tucked inside.
01:29 That all helps to upscale it to 8K and sharpens any low-res content to that "OMG, I'm right
01:35 there in real life" feeling.
01:36 You can also connect your Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and use 360-degree fully immersive surround
01:43 sound to feel even more like you're right there.
01:47 And you know, things are just getting set up here, but wow, are we ever in for a wild
01:53 ride.
01:54 Yeah, I'll tell you, also the wild ride is going to be in health tech, which everybody's
01:58 jumping on.
01:59 I literally just left my office watching on TV where everyone is starting to look at this
02:03 for 2024, and you're right there to show us something that we could be seeing here in
02:08 the future.
02:09 That's exactly right.
02:10 This is one I'm taking home with me.
02:12 It's Proclaim's Custom Jet Oral Health System.
02:16 This basically deep cleans your mouth and gets rid of all kinds of gross disease-causing
02:20 bacteria in just seven seconds a day.
02:25 It has the 3D custom-fit mouthpiece with some 60 jets that pulse water between your teeth
02:30 and your gum line, providing a professional-level clean.
02:33 Proven up to 13 times more effective than flossing.
02:37 You still have to brush your teeth like normal, but then you just pop this little spray tray
02:41 in.
02:42 It works like magic.
02:44 This is available now and is running about $100 off during the show.
02:48 I like that.
02:49 They got to get a portable one, not unless that's portable.
02:51 I can take it anywhere?
02:53 You can take it anywhere.
02:55 It's not quite portable yet, but it does such a good job.
02:58 Plaque, tartar, even freshens your breath.
03:01 You can skip it for a few days and you'll still be good.
03:04 Your dentist and hygienist will still love you.
03:07 That's awesome.
03:09 You mentioned AI taking over, of course, this convention.
03:14 What are we seeing in the AI world right now?
03:16 Well, a great example is what Readyland's done for kids.
03:21 They've pioneered these Alexa interactive books.
03:23 We've talked about this a little before.
03:25 This is where kids can use the voice-enabled speaker to bring certain books to life, playing
03:30 games, singing songs, learning to read.
03:32 But now they're taking it to the next level and letting kids have full conversations with
03:38 the characters.
03:39 For instance, your child can name any animal they can think of, and Readyland can work
03:43 it into a story.
03:45 This is that company behind safeandsoundai.com.
03:48 I love these guys.
03:50 I think they've made a huge difference in my life.
03:54 A lot of friends of mine who have kids, I cannot wait to see what they do next.
03:58 I'm really pushing them to come out with some toys.
04:01 Hoping to see that soon.
04:04 I like it.
04:05 I like it.
04:06 There you go.
04:07 Okay.
04:08 I was getting excited for this next one because I'm a griller.
04:10 So someone's taking grilling to a whole new level here.
04:13 Yeah.
04:14 Check out the current dual zone grill.
04:16 This is the world's first full-size electric grill that makes it all easier and safer.
04:22 There's no open flames.
04:24 It's a set it and forget it kind of product.
04:26 You can put it on your balcony, outside, really anywhere, heck, even in a freezing convention
04:31 center.
04:32 There's no smoke, really, but you still get all of that traditional flavor.
04:36 Plus, it's Wi-Fi enabled.
04:38 So you're driving home from work, you just tap an app, it's heated and waiting to go
04:42 to throw that meat, those veggies on the minute you arrive.
04:46 Plus, with zero emissions, it's better for the planet.
04:49 But what I love most about it, it makes grilling far more accessible.
04:53 I can finally grill almost as well as my pit master spouse.
04:57 This launches in February.
04:59 It's available for pre-order now.
05:02 I'm pretty sure you need to sign up, get your name on the list right this second.
05:05 Oh yeah.
05:06 We need one right here for the studio.
05:08 That would be awesome.
05:09 We can have it outside there.
05:10 That would be perfect for us to enjoy some grilling.
05:12 Right, right.
05:13 Just right now.
05:14 So I like it.
05:15 Okay, what else do you have for us really quick?
05:16 Well, CES is all about more new devices, which creates a need for more and better cybersecurity.
05:23 Companies like Kaspersky, they're here trying to get ahead of the hackers, lock it all down
05:27 from vulnerabilities and malware most of us don't even know exist yet.
05:33 For this, take a look at the Kaspersky VPN, adding an extra layer of protection, preventing
05:37 those third-party trackers, keeping you and your family's personal data safe while you're
05:42 browsing and gaming online.
05:43 It works across devices and it is available now.
05:47 I love it.
05:48 Jennifer, you always bring us the hottest stuff right now and that's what I love about
05:52 you.
05:53 And right now, for the next couple of days, you're going to bring us some really hot stuff.
05:56 So where can we follow you and find out more of everything that's going on there at CES?
06:02 Go straight to techish.com.
06:03 Oh yeah, wait till you see what we have in store for you next.
06:08 Oh, I can't wait.
06:09 Thank you very much, Jennifer.
06:10 Jolly and stay warm.
06:11 I'm trying.
06:12 I'm trying.
06:13 I'm going to dog in place for a while here.
06:17 I'm going to do a little bit of a walkthrough.
