German football legend, Frank Beckenbauer has passed away at the age of 78. We look back at a career full of success, both as a player and a manager.

00:00 The name Franz Beckenbauer is synonymous with German football in the mid to late 20th century.
00:09 Having won everything domestically possible for Bayern Munich as a player, he also won
00:14 the World Cup and European Championships for West Germany on the biggest international

00:22 He then went on to manage West Germany, finishing runner-up in the 1986 World Cup to Argentina

00:34 In 1990 though he went one better, with his side having famously defeated England on penalties
