00:05 The world has witnessed again the burning devotion and faith of the devotees of Itim na Poong Nazareno

00:14 in returning to the Church after three years of pandemic.

00:19 Here in the church where I am standing,

00:24 the devotees are eagerly waiting to return to the Church.

00:27 They started their journey early this morning from the Quirino Grandstand.

00:32 Earlier this morning, before the translation,

00:35 more than a million devotees visited the Church.

00:39 Ian Cruz was able to talk.

00:41 The Quirino Grandstand was filled with people

00:49 as the devotees opened their cellphones at the same time

00:53 while others held the candle during the morning prayer before the translation.

00:58 At the foot of the Church, the number of devotees here earlier this morning

01:03 reached 1.3 million people.

01:05 A few moments later, at 5 am, the crowd left the church.

01:20 Here, the devotees were greeted by the black Nazarene inside the church.

01:24 Our Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us.

01:46 Many raised their hands, while others were holding their handkerchiefs.

02:23 the procession was quick from the Quirino Grandstand to the Katigbak Drive.

02:29 Other devotees were running towards the procession

02:37 and after three years, the translation was held again.

02:41 In the past few years, this is the fastest procession of the Nazarene.

02:47 It is only 10 minutes away from the Manila Hotel.

02:52 As the devotees left the Quirino Grandstand,

02:57 the trash was piled up.

03:00 The Quirino Grandstand is full of trash.

03:03 The devotees have not been moving since yesterday.

03:07 They were here since yesterday and the day before.

03:11 But it's good that they left.

03:13 The MMDA and Manila City Hall are here to clean up the trash.

03:19 It was 9 in the morning when the cleaning was done.

03:23 Trash trucks were piled up around the area.

03:27 We have five trucks.

03:28 The DPS has two small trucks and a big truck.

03:32 Eight trucks.

03:35 The couple, Christy and Paulo, have been with the translation for more than a decade.

03:41 They were one of the last group to be kissed at the Grandstand.

03:46 I have two already.

03:48 I hope that the whole of Jesus Nazarene will be with me.

03:53 Some are praying for their spouse, Risa Corpus,

03:59 who was killed in the Batangas.

04:05 She is still alive and well.

04:08 I just want to say to her,

04:10 "Lord, I am here again.

04:16 I am asking for forgiveness.

04:18 Please bring my daughter back to life. I will come back to you."

04:21 Since she was born,

04:23 her parents have been with her in her devotion to the Black Nazarene.
