Description: Within an hour, Arth helps Kiyo master the Mamodo language, enabling him to operate the fail-safe. When asked by Sunbeam, Souza replies that he sided with Ellie because she reminded him of his sister. Kiyo programs the device but notes that it would require 51⁄2 hours to charge up, and Faudo would already have been released during this. With the fourth day's sun soon to rise, Rioh and his cohorts gather around the seal and attack it to no avail, until Kiyo and Zatch arrive and help them break it open in the nick of time. As a result, Rioh's curse diminishes, sparing Li–en and the affected bookowners their fate, and Wonrei reasserts his allegiance to Zatch. Kanchome, Tia and their partners also escape from their prison cell and rejoin the others as the vault begins to crumble apart and set Faudo free.
