The social piece features legendary figures from McLaren past and present highlighting their favorite McLaren road and race cars. From the M6GT to the Speedtail to the 750S, you will learn what McLarens have captured the hearts of these racing industry icons.

The film features current Formula 1 driver Lando Norris, McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown, and former McLaren Formula 1 driver Stefan Johansson. Major players of the Arrow McLaren IndyCar team, including drivers Alexander Rossi, Pato O’Ward and David Malukas, as well as Sporting Director Tony Kanaan, also feature within the film. 00:00 My favorite McLaren road car will be the 765LT.
00:05 My 765LT.
00:07 Tough question because I would say if I could I have one of each.
00:13 But my 620R.
00:15 It's definitely my favorite.
00:17 My favorite McLaren road car would have to be my Speedtail.
00:22 It's quite unique looking.
00:24 It's extremely fast.
00:25 Having a 720 in your garage,
00:28 what I like to say is like having a missile in there.
00:31 That is a really hard question.
00:36 And I'd like to give three answers.
00:38 One is a car that my dad built,
00:41 which is the M6 GT.
00:44 My favorite McLaren road car,
00:47 I would have to say it would probably be the GT.
00:49 I think the favorite is the 750S.
00:52 This is my favorite McLaren.
00:55 McLaren Artura.
00:57 In every capacity it blew my mind.
01:00 The F1 GTR was probably the most outrageous car
01:05 and most memorable car I ever drove in my career.
01:08 Just when I drive from zero to the speed limit,
01:12 you know, it scares me.
01:14 Even when I go from one car to this car,
01:19 it still feels almost just as quick in some ways
01:22 just because it's more enclosed and it gives you that different feeling.
01:26 I wanted something that would at least
01:29 simulate a little bit of a race car on the streets.
01:32 The straight line acceleration of this thing,
01:34 taking off from zero to 60,
01:37 it was something that actually gave me that little gap in my stomach.
01:41 What surprises me most about the Speedtail
01:48 is the ease of driving.
01:50 It's just comfortable at 20 miles an hour.
01:52 Still mind-blowing when you put the pedal down
01:56 and the thing just goes and it pulls really, really strong.
02:00 What does it feel like?
02:05 Slightly terrifying at times, I'd say.
02:08 M8B Can-Am car from 1969,
02:12 winning 11 of the 11 races.
02:15 What an amazing achievement
02:17 and probably one of the few in any sporting genre
02:21 where they've had a complete glean sweep.
02:23 My third favourite would be any of the automotive cars
02:27 because they are just such fun to drive,
02:30 so pretty to look at
02:32 and so engaging in terms of the design
02:36 and the engineering and the innovation in them.
02:40 It's such a good balance between when you take it on track,
02:44 it's a blast, you have a good time,
02:46 but also just from an everyday road car,
02:48 I think it's the best kind of balance between the two.
02:51 As an artist, I appreciate the aesthetics of this car.
02:56 At the Sun Valley Tour de Force event earlier this year,
02:59 I took the car up to 204 miles an hour
03:02 and the stability and the comfort,
03:04 it felt like you were doing 80 miles an hour.
03:06 The F1 GT-R was outrageous
03:09 because we never anticipated ever getting near
03:13 to getting close to winning Le Mans.
03:14 We didn't even think we'd finish Le Mans.
03:16 What makes it so special to me,
03:18 A McLaren to me is the British team.
03:20 To drive with your son and finish on the winner's roster
03:23 on Father's Day is pretty spectacular.
03:25 Certainly the most wonderful memory I have of racing
03:28 is I think any father would have.
