00:02 We can see in our latest satellite images, there are still two weather systems that are affecting our country.
00:08 First is the Northeast Monsoon or Hanging Amian.
00:11 This will bring rain particularly in the Batanes and Babuyan Islands.
00:17 Meanwhile, there are also some mild rains that we can experience particularly in the Ilocos region.
00:22 This includes the cold regions of Cagayan Valley and Cordillera.
00:27 Central Luzon, Manila, and Calabarzon are also affected.
00:31 These are still affected by the Northeast Monsoon or Hanging Amian.
00:34 In the southern part of the country, besides Mindanao, we are still expecting heavy rains.
00:41 The rain and snowfall are also affected by the Easterlies or the wind that is blowing from the Pacific Ocean.
00:46 Based on our latest data, it shows that we are still not monitoring any low-pressure areas.
00:52 We still do not have any typhoons inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
00:58 Meanwhile, because of the Amian, we have now raised the Gale Warning.
01:01 This is our forecast for the strong waves of the sea.
01:04 We expect that the waves of the sea will reach up to four meters in the Batanes,
01:10 in Cagayan, along with Babuyan Islands, and in the Ilocos Norte.
01:14 This is the tip of the Amian.
01:15 That is why we are asking our fellow countrymen to be careful,
01:18 especially the small boats and small boats,
01:22 to not sail to these islands because we expect that there will be a strong wave that will bring the Amian.
01:31 This is where we expect the weather to be in the next three days.
01:36 Based on our latest data, the Northeast Monsoon or Amian will continue to be active,
01:42 as will the Easterlies.
01:44 We can see here in our data, these green colors indicate that it will rain.
01:51 Based on this, in the next three days,
01:53 generally, the weather will still be fair in a large part of our country.
01:57 We can see here that there is a high chance of rain, especially in the eastern section,
02:02 or the northern part of Visayas and Mindanao,
02:06 which is the tip of the Easterlies.
02:09 In the next three days, until January 4, there is a small chance of a storm inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
02:18 We will continue to update this in the next few days.
02:21 Meanwhile, for our detailed weather forecast,
02:25 we can visit the various Facebook pages of our Pag-asa Regional Services Division.
