00:31 So in fact, if you're going back, he's got a rushing touchdown since week five in

00:43 So you're looking at a spot where, I mean,
00:45 he's had multiple in three of those weeks too.
00:47 So you're getting huge upside here when it comes to Jalen Hurts in terms of
00:51 creating scoring but also controlling the scoring.
00:53 So he's throwing a touchdown pass, it's points for Hurts.
00:56 If he's rushing a touchdown, it's points for Hurts.
00:58 So he's a really good pivot away if you are trying to say, all right,
01:01 I'm gonna take a look at the CMC.
01:03 It's too pricey for me, let's go somewhere else.
01:05 Let's go instead of Jalen Hurts.
01:06 And this is a good matchup for him against an Arizona Cardinals defense that
01:09 frankly isn't very good.
01:10 I think we've all seen that.
01:11 And we've seen the struggles that they have had all season long.
01:14 So it makes a lot of sense.
01:16 In terms of pairing him, that's where it becomes kind of difficult.
01:19 I mean, AJ Brown and him have kind of, I don't wanna say not been on the same page,
01:23 but it hasn't been quite as prolific as it was earlier in the season where they were
01:26 just on such a roll together.
01:28 You can go with Devonta Smith, but he's been up and down too.
01:30 I think I would personally make the case to just go ahead with Jalen Hurts,
01:35 hope that he gets at least one rushing touchdown and
01:38 then let the chips fall where they may.
01:40 It's an expensive way to go.
01:41 But if you look at the quarterback board today, you don't have Goff,
01:44 you don't have elite Joe Flacco, you don't have Dak Prescott, right?
01:48 So you're taking some of those guys off the board already.
01:50 And Patrick Mahomes has been lackluster as well this year.
01:54 And it's not all his fault necessarily.
01:56 But if you're looking for the top of the board in terms of quarterbacks this week,
02:00 it's a difficult thing because you're seeing a lot of backups.
02:02 I mean, Brock Purdy coming off a lesson inspiring performance.
02:04 He's also very expensive.
02:06 I don't know if there's a lot of guys that really stand out.
02:09 You also got CJ Stroud coming off a couple weeks of not playing with
02:12 the concussion issue.
02:14 He becomes a volatile investment.
02:15 What if there's some sort of re-injury here potentially?
02:17 We've seen that with concussions before in the past.
02:20 So it's a dicey situation at quarterback.
02:22 I think this is a week to pay down a quarterback because there are so
02:25 many options.
02:26 Now some people wanna pay all the way down and take a shot at one of these guys
02:30 that is one of the backups like the Eastern Sticks and
02:32 Teron Taylor's of the world.
02:33 And I understand that.
02:34 I get especially the Taylor one because there is some rushing equity there, but
02:37 it is a tough matchup against the Rams.
02:38 So as far as I'm concerned, Hertz is a good investment in cash.
02:43 I think it makes it a little difficult to get the other pieces you need.
02:46 And I don't know if we've seen any guys really on this board who are set up on
02:50 that CD lamb was yesterday, right?
02:53 So CD lamb's on this board right now.
02:55 Justin Jefferson is playing with Jaron Hall.

03:01 So your elite level wide receivers aren't there, which is why to me,
03:04 I think if you're gonna pay up this week, you pay up for running back.
03:06 Because those are the guys right now who are controlling the scoring.

03:12 I think the running back position is the way to invest.
03:14 I'll say you can't invest in Hertz.
03:15 Of course, you can have a Hertz lineup.
03:16 But I think those two running backs, Kyron Williams and
03:18 Christian McCaffrey are two guys you really wanna try to plug in there.
