02:47 Today, we are gathered here to celebrate our success.
02:51 We accomplished one of the major milestones of our lives--
02:54 high school graduation.
02:57 This is a major step we can rise our head high,
03:00 for we have overcome all the challenges life threw at us
03:04 in the past three years.
03:06 It has not been easy, but we have
03:08 reached the end of the hurdle.
03:10 It is an act not only of personal commitment,
03:13 but also one of pride.
03:17 It's also the beginning of a new life,
03:19 and I want to encourage you never to relent.
03:23 I want to encourage you to use the same spirit
03:25 that you have shown, the sacrifices you have made,
03:30 the sleepless night you have ended.
03:32 This is a promise you, my friend.
03:34 It is our ticket to our next destination.
03:37 I do not promise you an easy journey,
03:39 nor am I assuming that it will be the same for everyone.
03:43 But it is up to each one of us to make our dreams work.
03:46 It is up to each one of us to keep pushing and push harder.
03:51 As Charlie Munger said, you are not
03:53 going to get very far in the life
03:54 based on what you already know.
03:56 You are going to advance in life by what you are going
03:59 to learn after you leave here.
04:02 Congratulations to the class of 2017.
04:04 [MUSIC - CHARLIE MUNGER, "ON MY WAY"]
04:06 (SINGING) I've got this feeling down deep in my soul
04:10 that I just can't lose.
04:13 Guess I'm on my way.
04:16 [APPLAUSE]
04:21 I need a little friend.
04:24 And the way I've been now, I guess
04:26 I'll be with you to the end.
04:30 Guess I'm on my way.
04:35 My regret is staying.
04:37 My regret is staying.
04:44 [APPLAUSE]
04:48 We are very happy and confident for our beloved graduates who
05:06 spend their time and effort to learn and succeed
05:10 all courses and other requirements
05:13 from the government of Rwanda to become
05:18 competent workers in hospitality and tourism industry.
05:23 My great appreciation also came to our partners
05:30 who used to help us in different circumstances,
05:35 like training students through the internship, coaching,
05:39 assistance in teaching materials.
05:42 They assist also students who need
05:47 to create their own businesses with a startup kit.
05:52 All those help us to train those students with the quality
06:04 education.
06:08 We could not reach this level without parents.
06:13 We used to collaborate with us, provide advice,
06:19 make follow-up of those students when they are home
06:22 so that they can be competent.
06:27 They used to revise their courses.
06:32 They used to respect the school program.
06:37 Dear parents, thank you very much.
06:40 JIT Hospitality and Tourism Management
06:49 has the honor and privilege to offer five scholarships
07:01 for toppers to come to study in Moshes

07:33 fees, and the best part of it, students
