Rwandans protest to demand unconditional and immediate release of Gen. Karenzi Karake.

Hundreds of Rwandans on Wednesday and Thursday participated in a demonstration calling for the release of Rwanda’s intelligence chief Arrested in UK on 20th June 2015.

Lt. Gen. Karenzi Karake was arrested at Heathrow Airport in UK on Saturday as he was preparing to return to Rwanda after participating in a meeting.

They gathered outside the office of British High commissioner to Rwanda and passed night there /with placards carrying messages requesting his release.
