01:30 - I'm against it, because it's one of the last cultural elements of the Szczytna municipality, which is a testament to the history, tradition, tradition of the region, which is evolving in orderliness.
01:40 And it's worth taking care of elements like that, to use them in tourist destinations.
01:44 For example, the preparation of the memory room, the history of orderliness, the reference to the history of glassmaking in the Szczytna municipality, and to use such elements locally.
01:54 - The railway was very well developed here.
01:56 - Yes, the railway was very well developed here.
01:58 - Especially because there was a very large traffic at the health center, and the building behind us, where the hotel was, where railway users could spend the night.
02:08 - So it was such an attractive place.
02:10 - I understand that for you, as a resident of Szczytna, a tourist who will come by train here to the station, you could come and see such a tower as a tourist element.
02:19 - Yes, of course. Creating such a local memory room, using historical elements, household archives, collecting materials, and this is the first element where a tourist could come to learn the history of Szczytna.
02:31 - Mr. Editor, today there was a conversation with the representatives of the PKP, the Department of Real Estate Management in Wrocław, on this issue. A letter has already been submitted on this issue, where we declared the adoption of this tower of pressure.
02:50 - Today we discussed the issues related to its adoption, procedures, and transmission. We received information from the representatives of the PKP, how long it may take, and when the Szczytna municipality can become the owner of the department along with the tower and the additional building that is located on this department.
03:14 - So are there any ideas for this tower?
03:16 - There are, but I will be honest, due to the large interest from the residents, I think that it was a good idea to announce a consultation, even a competition, for the idea of owning this facility.
03:34 - First of all, it must be a facility related to infrastructure. It is assumed that in order to receive this facility from the PKP, it must be in accordance with the regulations that apply in this area, which clearly state that the PKP can transfer this facility to us for infrastructural purposes.
03:55 - So it can be a tourist facility, it can be an object that will be, for example, information in the tourist region?
04:01 - Of course, yes. Parking spaces must also be available. I also thought that the railway station, along with this tower, can also present the history of the railway line, how it was created, of course, in reference to the history of Szczytna.
04:21 - Let's remember that in 1945, the station and these areas were the first buildings that people from the east saw coming and settling here, so you can also present the history of these people somewhere in this facility, so that everyone can get to know the history of how the Poles began to live in these areas.
04:47 - I would like to thank the residents of Szczytna who reacted quickly when this facility began to be dismantled and thanks to this we were able to stop the dismantling together with the residents.
05:05 - I would also like to thank the Marshal Monika Wielichowska, who helped us a lot in this regard, and thank you for your cooperation with the Director of the PKP, the Department of Real Estate Management, Mr. Tadeusz Szulc.
