00:00 "Our relationship has been very strong, very steady and I think we have lived up to the
00:14 responsibilities of a special and privileged strategic partnership.
00:19 I am told this year we have already met six times I believe.
00:24 I learnt this is our seventh meeting, part of it is of course the G20, the SCO, the ASEAN
00:32 BRICS formats have today allowed many more and many regular contacts.
00:40 And our leaders, Prime Minister Modi and President Putin have also been in frequent contact.
00:46 We have seen different expressions of our cooperation this year, some of which you have
00:52 noted, I would also mention our presence at the St. Petersburg International Economic
00:57 Forum, at the Far Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok at the meetings and on the bilateral
01:07 economic cooperation, the India-Russia Intergovernmental Commission which I co-chair with Deputy PM
01:14 Mantharu, we have been meeting, I met him yesterday.
01:18 We are very glad to see continued progress, we expect a strong Russian participation at
01:26 the Vibrant Gujarat meeting in January, including a lot of governors from the Far East.
01:33 So today I think our meeting we will focus on bilateral cooperation in different spheres,
01:40 adjusting it to changing circumstances and demands.
01:44 We will discuss the international strategic situation, conflicts and tensions, where they
01:50 are, also focus on development challenges that the Global South faces, and of course
01:57 the state of multilateralism and the building of a multipolar world order.
02:02 Look forward to our discussions.
02:04 Once again, thank you for a warm welcome and for your hospitality.
