00:00 Hey guys, so today we're gonna be looking at the brand new 16-inch MacBook Pro with the M3 Max.
00:07 It kind of has like a modern look but still kind of classic in its own way, which I like.
00:11 And if we open it up, you can also see the large keyboard, which is perfect for me because I have big hands.
00:18 Alright, so here's a better look at the anti-fingerprint resistance.
00:22 If you read Apple's website, they say it's anodized to lessen fingerprints.
00:26 Sometimes you can actually see like the fingerprint disappear before your eyes, which is like magical to me as far as I'm concerned.
00:33 For the most part, the display features the same specs as before.
00:37 The main difference is that in regular non-HDR brightness, you actually get around 600 nits of brightness.
00:44 Last year's M2 Max, it lasted for pretty much 19 hours.
00:48 I was very curious to see how long this would last.
00:51 I'll say now it doesn't last as long, but you're not missing much.
00:56 This one obviously packs the M3 Max chip, which is quite frankly the most powerful chip we have tested over at Tom's Guide.
01:03 If you're a professional video editor who needs to crunch through 8K videos,
01:07 or if you're a gamer that's very excited over the future of Mac gaming with a starting price of $34.99,
01:13 I would actually suggest the MacBook Pro 14-inch with a regular M3 processor.
01:18 That'll get you through everything.
01:19 I'm really happy that Apple has provided three different variations of these machines for people.
01:25 this is the laptop to beat.
01:27 Sorry, Windows, you don't have anything
