00:00 >> Data, I mean this time last year you just helped show me the state title game.
00:05 Did you expect now to be in this position a year later having contributed as much as
00:09 you did on the defense this year?
00:11 Did you expect to be in this position right now?
00:14 >> Honestly, being at Oregon, I mean, you expect to win a lot of games.
00:22 You also expect to go far.
00:23 So I mean, coming to Oregon, I expect to be where we're at right now.
00:31 We packed our championship, we kind of wanted to have a better outcome.
00:35 But I think we're blessed to be in this position.
00:39 We're gonna definitely take advantage of what we got.
00:42 >> I was gonna say for you too, did you expect to be contributing as much as you
00:46 did in the rotation, making plays like you did as a true freshman this year?
00:52 >> I thought it comes down to, for me especially, effort.
00:56 I think it's just every day in practice, just keep on working,
01:01 just doing what I gotta do to put myself in a good position.
01:05 And I was fortunate enough to get on the field and
01:08 help him out in whatever it was.
01:11 >> I'm sure you've been to a lot of college practices with your dad,
01:16 coaching, and seen a lot.
01:17 What's your like of being on the field and
01:20 part of the same team that he's coaching, having seen him do it your entire life?
01:24 >> It's definitely fun.
01:25 I would say that being around my dad, because the coaching life is
01:30 kind of like it takes away from being with family.
01:33 So it's nice to be around him, see him a lot.
01:36 And also having my dad on the staff, he pushes me a lot.
01:41 Definitely does a lot for me, and I'm so
01:44 grateful that he's on the staff.
