Debut live album by Australian jazz group Daly-Wilson Big Band formed in Sydney, South Wales in 1968 by drummer Warren Daly and trombonist Ed Wilson. The line-up, at times, was an eighteen piece ensemble, that played popular jazz cover versions as well as originals. "Live at the Cellblock" captured their live performance at Cell Block Theatre in Sydney. Big band jazz and blues sound with attempt to groove and lot of horns. The group was active from 1968 to 1971 and from 1973 to 1983. In the various years, among others were part of the group as singers Linda Cable, Neva Phillips, Terry Holden and Marcia Hines.
