Christmas weather forecast: Are we in for a white Christmas this year?
Strong winds across central and northern areas of the UK meant a yellow weather warning has been in place by the Met Office this week, with wind speeds of over a hundred miles per hour detected in some areas. But how is the rest of the year looking in terms of weather? And can we expect a white Christmas this year? Here's what we know.

00:41 I think it is quite likely. So the greatest chance of seeing some snow on Christmas Day
00:45 will be across parts of northern central Scotland, particularly the higher ground. We could see
00:50 maybe four to eight centimetres over the higher ground if we see those wintry showers really
00:55 kicking off and that cold rear does plunge its way a little bit further southwards.
