00:00 >> Well, when we talked to Pat in the offseason about bringing him here,
00:04 that was one of the things that was exciting about him.
00:06 And he was excited about was the opportunity to do some different things.
00:09 And he had done some, as I'm sure everybody knows,
00:13 we've been seeing some of our down packers have done some things.
00:16 So when we had those extreme circumstances hit, it was only natural for
00:20 him to move there because he had done some things there and
00:23 he does have a skill set for it.
00:25 I think moving forward, I mean, I still see him as a corner,
00:29 nickel and slash kind of guy that does it.
00:32 And I think moving forward, we just have to play it by ear,
00:34 see where we are in terms of our depth, in terms of what we need from it.
00:39 But I don't think it's a full time move.
00:42 >> Is that something historically, Rod Wilson,
00:45 Charles Wilson, those all the main type cornerbacks,
00:50 extended career to safety, is that something you bring up this year?
00:54 >> Yeah, I mean, I'm not looking at it right now, but
00:57 obviously I think he could do it.
00:59 And I think that is something that a lot of those guys do because they are good
01:03 football players, they're smart football players.
01:05 So they can transition from outside to inside to see the game.
01:09 Cuz you see the game differently inside than you do outside.
01:11 And some guys, that's a hard switch.
01:14 But for a guy like Pat and obviously you mentioned Rod, I know that those guys can
01:18 make it because they are really good football players and
01:21 they see the big picture of the game.
