00:00 What changes do you want to see in Leeds next year?
00:02 Public transport definitely needs to improve.
00:04 The buses, the trains, they're not really fit for purpose.
00:08 So it kind of needs taking away from the companies and sorting out I think.
00:12 And what do you think needs to change?
00:14 The ownership needs to go from private companies back to public hands.
00:18 Give it back to the people rather than it being for profit, that kind of thing.
00:22 The trains, the infrastructure's not up to it, so it definitely needs to improve.
00:28 What changes would you like to see in Leeds next year?
00:32 Well it would be nice when this behind us is finished.
00:36 I'd like them to build a tram system, they promised us about 20 years ago, but that's never going to happen.
00:42 What changes would you like to see in Leeds in 2024?
00:46 I'd just like it to feel safer as a pedestrian.
00:53 Because at the moment, by cyclists, they're nearly knocking you over.
00:58 And I just don't feel safe as a pedestrian anymore.
01:01 And I go to the football matches and obviously I use the city centre a lot because I don't live in Leeds.
01:06 But I just feel like I have to be on a heightened state of awareness in case I get knocked over.
01:12 That's what I'm worried about.
01:14 So they need to think that if they're going to be cycling, fine, but be in their own zone.
01:18 Don't criss-cross.
01:20 I'd like to see Allen Road get the...
01:23 I want the owners to have the club in the best place.
01:27 And to think of the club.
01:29 And to think...
01:31 Because they're wanting to have a 55,000 seater stadium and we can't cope with the 36,000 that we've got now.
01:39 So there's a hell of a lot they need to think about there.
01:42 Because getting to and from the ground is a little bit of a nightmare.
