01:31 A total of 141 MPs, 95 from the Lok Sabha and 46 from the Rajya Sabha,

01:36 have been suspended for the rest of the winter session.

01:39 Interestingly, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor had predicted his suspension

01:43 minutes before the Lok Sabha Speaker announced his name on the list of expelled members.

01:47 "For the first time in my parliamentary career of nearly 15 years,

01:51 I too entered the well of the House holding a placard calling for a discussion on the recent security breach.

01:59 who have been unjustly suspended for demanding accountability from the government.
