00:20 So I was also doing volunteering last year. I met some awesome people and their job roles
00:25 was really appealing to me and I thought I could really see myself doing that so I applied
00:30 and it proved to be right. It's brilliant. Best year of my life.
00:40 University just didn't appeal to me so I was on the lookout for other opportunities
00:45 to be involved in sport so I applied to it because it's just perfect for me.
00:50 What would you say that's unique about this apprenticeship?
00:52 No day is the same. I've gone from on a Friday coaching in my placement for Year 7 girls
00:59 to on a Saturday then working in the Principality Stadium for a Six Nations game.
01:05 A real highlight for me was working with the events team for the Portmouth Nationals and
01:12 Six Nations in the Principality Stadium and then also helping out with the events team
01:17 for the Women's Six Nations in Cardiff Arms Park.
01:20 Yeah I agree with that because from being behind the scenes it's just amazing especially
01:25 from being there so early seeing how the stadium fills up and how the crowds come in and how
01:30 the players arrive and stuff. It's just one hell of an experience.
01:38 So what advice would you give to someone that's thinking of applying for this apprenticeship?
01:43 First of all I'd say be yourself. Apply with enthusiasm and show that you're willing.
01:48 Don't think about it, just apply. It's such a brilliant, brilliant thing to be a part
01:52 of. The friendships you make, the connections you make, the experiences you have, it's just
01:57 absolutely fantastic.
01:58 I felt at home in this apprenticeship. The rugby community is really welcoming. It's
02:03 helped me to push myself, explore new avenues and we get paid to do it.
