Tennis stars react to Kyrgios missing out on Australian Open
Alexander Bublik, Andrey Rublev, Holger Rune and Diego Schwartzman spoke highly of what Nick Kyrgios brings to the game of tennis following the news last week that the 28-year-old will not be playing in the Australian Open.

00:00 Seeing Nick in the position he is now, I saw him in Hale, we had a practice actually in Hale,
00:06 and I saw in what state of mind and in what position he is in terms of injuries,
00:10 in terms of his body, and it's sad because I think he had already a great career,
00:15 he achieved the Slam final, he won the Masters and made a couple of finals,
00:20 so I think he is a great player and he deserves to be on the Tour de France,
00:25 and obviously I believe he wants to play, maybe he says he wants to retire,
00:30 but I believe he wants to play, just his body maybe doesn't allow him to do it at the moment,
00:34 but I wish him a quick recovery and of course in the locker room it's always nice to have fun players,
00:40 there aren't so many of them.
00:42 Nick is first of all a very talented player, one of the most talented players that tennis needs,
00:49 so I can say only that we need him back because he brings a lot of fun to tennis,
00:56 and he makes me smile with this comment.
00:59 He is struggling with injuries, it's tough for him,
01:02 but it's tough for him that he can't play in Australia because it's the home tournament,
01:09 home crowd, it's a big opportunity for him, but again he has to take care of himself and I wish him the best.
