00:00 I've covered Joe since 2007, and it's finally here
00:03 at University of Delaware.
00:04 And it's just really remarkable.
00:06 What I love is he's 38 years old.
00:08 He's out of football.
00:10 I'm told no team before the Browns
00:12 showed really any interest in him.
00:14 As I told you months ago, the Jets
00:16 weren't interested after Aaron Rodgers got hurt.
00:19 For whatever reason, there was not that interest.
00:21 Though after, of course, his first game,
00:23 there were teams interested, I'm told.
00:24 But the bottom line is, this is what I love.
00:27 He's so unflappable.
00:28 They're down 17 to 7 heading into the fourth quarter.
00:30 He's not playing well.
00:32 It's raining.
00:32 It looks bad.
00:34 People are going to say, see, here's how Flacco implodes.
00:36 He didn't implode.
00:38 He hung in there.
00:38 He did throw the three picks.
00:40 But he got hot in the fourth quarter
00:41 and brought the team back.
00:42 The defense hung in there in not great conditions.
00:45 And if they make the playoffs, Pharrell,
00:48 it's going to be a big reason because of this guy.
00:50 Just think about where they'd be.
00:51 Thompson Robinson got hurt.
00:53 He had a concussion.
00:54 They skipped over PJ Walker, who they wound up cutting.
00:58 He's now on their practice squad.
01:00 And they signed Flacco because it was their last chance,
01:02 last gasp here.
01:03 They put him in there.
01:04 He's been terrific.
01:05 He's saving the football team.
01:06 And by the way, Kevin Stefanski deserves a lot of credit.
01:10 They have so many injuries, Pharrell.
01:11 We'll get into this later in the week.
01:13 Because they're-- by the way, they play at the Texans.
01:15 That's going to be a great game Sunday,
01:16 one of the prime games of the week.
01:18 And they've got, on both sides of the football,
01:19 they've got like eight guys who are hurt.
01:21 But when you have a guy like Flacco
01:24 who could throw the football and it's fearless,
01:27 that's what makes him such a tough quarterback.
01:29 Let's not forget, Super Bowl MVP in 2012.
