00:02 In December we meet at the People's University of Radawnica
00:05 for an annual Christmas Eve for our employees,
00:08 our listeners, and also for people who are friends of the University of Radawnica.
00:14 They help us, work together, and create great things throughout the year.
00:20 The Volunteer Gala is one of the elements of the project we are currently implementing.
00:24 It is a project of the Solidarity Corps,
00:27 in which we want to create a center for volunteerism in Radawnica.
00:30 It will be a center that will allow us to coordinate volunteers in our region,
00:35 create new volunteer places, train volunteers,
00:39 and also train people who will be volunteering.
00:43 So it is a fairly extensive project,
00:46 which we hope will benefit not only us,
00:49 not only the University of Radawnica,
00:51 but also all other non-governmental organizations and society in our region.
00:55 I think there are many organizations that use the services of volunteers,
01:00 and that's great, but we think that a coordinated volunteer
01:04 will be something that will be even better than it has been so far.
01:08 We think it's a step forward, not backward, and that's why we want to do it.
01:12 Today we want to reward people who have worked with us as volunteers so far.
01:16 So far, we have also organized mini-grants competitions,
01:19 so we gave out four mini-grants to various organizations,
01:22 three people who work as volunteers,
01:25 and these people carried out activities for their local communities.
01:28 Today we want to reward these people, these ideas.
01:31 During the next year, of course, we will develop the volunteer we run,
01:34 we will conduct training for these volunteers,
01:37 and we want to reward those who will be the most active,
01:40 the most efficient at the next volunteer gala next year.
