Shah Alam Magistrate's Court has allowed the application for a seven-day remand of a man suspected of beating his wife to death with a dumbbell on Friday (Dec 15).

Assistant Registrar Saidatul Akmar Suberi allowed the application by the police for the joblees suspect to be remanded for seven days from Saturday until Friday (Dec 22).

00:30 a dumbbell at a house in Jalan Sungai Chongkak on Friday.
00:34 Iqbal said the police received a report at 5.30am from the suspect himself, who claimed
00:40 that his wife was suffering from fits before he brought her unconscious body to Sya'alam
00:45 Hospital.
00:46 An initial examination of the victim revealed several injuries on her body, and further
00:52 investigation suggested that the suspect had allegedly beaten her out of jealousy.
00:58 The man was later arrested at a hospital, and the dumbbell used was ceased for investigation.
