00:00 The next thing I want to share is that yesterday, Facebook has posted on social media
00:10 that it has accused its condon starting from 1st January 2024.
00:18 I read the image that was spread widely through Facebook and I was also informed via WhatsApp
00:26 that it has accused its condon starting from 1st January 2024
00:33 that all petrol stations will be removed from subsidies for diesel-powered vehicles.
00:38 To get subsidies, you have to use a free card.
00:42 For further information, please scan the QR code.
00:45 I have brought this matter to the attention of the new Minister of Public Works,
00:50 Dato' Amizan, and yesterday, KPDN has published a statement
00:59 that denies what is happening in the social media and proves that the spread is a slander.
01:06 So, if I can pick up a little from the statement that I believe was reported by media tonight,
01:16 where KPDN has stated that the message I have just conveyed is a slander.
01:27 And this only involves a number of companies in the Perintis project.
01:38 What I want to emphasize here, as has been explained by KPDN,
01:43 is that we need to be careful with any information that is conveyed through social media,
01:48 especially when it has several signs such as copy and paste from a group or spreading through WhatsApp.
02:03 I urge everyone to be careful when receiving such information
02:09 because as we all know, false news can be used as a law.
02:18 At this time, the MCMC and the Ministry of Communications have identified
02:25 at least 8 to 10 spreaders.
02:31 We will hand this information to the police for further investigation.
02:39 I understand that the police have made a report on the spread of this slander
02:44 and I request that everyone,
02:49 if you receive information that is not true or cannot be proven,
02:58 or if you see that the content that is believed to be a slander,
03:04 please send it to 016-220-6262 via WhatsApp.
03:13 You can send a complaint to this number so that it can be taken immediately,
03:19 including through a request from the Ministry of Communications or through mass media.
03:27 Thank you.
