The High Court here today ordered a former leader of the Daesh cell 'wolf pack' to enter his defence on eight counts of terrorism-related offences including making threats to attack the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple in Seafield, Subang Jaya, four years ago.

00:00 The Kuala Lumpur High Court on Tuesday ordered a former leader of the Daesh cell, Wolf Pack,
00:08 to enter his defense on eight counts of terrorism-related offenses, including making threats to attack
00:13 the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple in Subang Jaya four years ago.
00:18 Judge Datuk Nurian Badaruddin made the order after finding that the prosecution had succeeded
00:23 in establishing a prima facie case against 38-year-old Mahadi Mamat.
00:28 The court is also satisfied that there are no defects in the charges made against the
00:32 accused.
00:33 Mahadi has three options to defend himself.
00:36 He can either choose to remain silent or testify in the dock or to testify under oath on the
00:41 witness stand where he can be cross-examined.
00:45 The court has set five days from April 4 to June 24 next year for the defense trial to
00:51 hear five defense witnesses' testimonies.
