00:00 Okay, let's end with the state of Florida and sports betting.
00:04 And really big event here in South Florida where I am.
00:08 You know, Mike, it was really more around roulette, I thought,
00:11 than more of the sports betting, to be honest.
00:14 From what I saw, it was like there was a lot of like table games
00:17 and just things that they had never had there before.
00:19 Sports betting was kind of like an aside,
00:21 or like, I guess, part of the story.
00:23 But now all over, as you mentioned, the state of Florida,
00:26 open up the app, you can bet.
00:28 And there's still fighting going on, by the way, too.
00:30 There's West Flagler and, you know, responses.
00:32 But I think the train is on the track here.
00:35 I don't see it stopping, do you?
00:37 Yeah, and that's kind of the point, you know,
00:41 of what Jim Allen, the Hard Rock CEO,
00:44 told Brant James of our sister site, Gaming Today, Friday, I believe.
00:48 He basically said, you know, when Chief Justice John Roberts
00:52 took away the temporary stay that had been granted
00:54 on the mandate for the Seminole Compact,
00:56 West Flagler, like you said, opposing it.
00:58 I believe it was on October 25th,
01:00 then Hard Rock said, hey, it's go time.
01:02 They launched online sports betting on November 7th.
01:04 And Jim said, maybe they end up losing the couple cases, right?
01:08 It's in state Supreme Court, and it's going to be in SCOTUS.
01:10 West Flagler has until February 9th to file a petition
01:13 in the state, excuse me, the U.S. Supreme Court.
01:16 And so, you know, we'll see where it plays out, right?
01:18 He said, in a year or two, we might not have it,
01:20 but it's going to take that long for them to fight it.
01:22 So this was the time for us to go.
01:24 You know, we saw the physical casino openings, Craig, right?
01:28 All across the state, the six Seminole casinos,
01:30 I think the last ones are opening today.
01:31 So yeah, huge, should be huge numbers there, right?
01:33 You'd imagine Florida, number one market,
01:35 21, 22 million people.
01:37 Should be incredible there, and you and I will certainly
01:39 be following it here on Sports Grid and Legal Sports Report,
01:42 all the happenings going on in the Sunshine State.
