00:00 snow on the ground was a welcome sight for a Nordic ski team in New York this week. But
00:05 you know this is not the only place seeing winter weather as snow has fallen on many slopes in
00:10 various parts of the country. Christina Shalhoub's always on board with skiing. She's got tonight's
00:14 report. If your weekend plans include hitting the slopes, well let's help you out here. We'll go to
00:20 Telluride first, which you know what I've never been out this way to go ski, but it is very much
00:25 on my bucket list. And this would be a really nice stretch to go enjoy the slopes here. Saturday,
00:30 Sunday, Monday, sunshine all three days. A couple of flurries, even a snow shower on Saturday make
00:34 you feel like the season. The temperature is warming as well, so hey you get a little something
00:38 for everybody. If you like it really cold, well there you go. 22 degrees on Saturday, 40 by Monday.
00:45 That's not too bad. Beaver Creek, pretty similar here. As we look through the Rockies, we get a
00:49 couple more snow showers in the mix Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures warm, not quite as much, and
00:53 I do want to throw you the Wintercast here. Your AccuWeather Wintercast. You'll only get this product
00:58 here on the AccuWeather app and on accuweather.com. And trust me friends, it is really helpful,
01:03 especially when you're trying to get the fresh powder, which you'll get four to eight inches of
01:07 it by tomorrow morning in Beaver Creek, Colorado. That's pretty solid. Killington, not quite as much.
01:13 Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you'll notice the trend here. Saturday, cloudy, not the
01:18 worst day to go ski or snowboard. Sunday, not nice. Going to be a horrible day in the northeast on
01:24 Sunday. I'll be perfectly frank about that. I would not hit the slopes. Wind is a huge concern and
01:29 some soaking rain at times. Monday is still going to be pretty darn windy, but you are going to get
01:34 some snow and temperatures are going to fall, so at the very least it'll feel a little bit more like
01:38 the season. Similar in Snowshoe, and I'll tell you what, the last time I was at Snowshoe, it actually
01:43 looked a lot like Saturday. Temperatures in the 50s with some sunshine, that's a heck of a lot of
01:47 fun to get out in the mountain, maybe even wear some short sleeves as you're out there, but just
01:51 know temperatures are going to fall like that as we get into Monday and we see more in the way of snow.
01:56 Wow, big changes there.
