The royal family has a motto, "never complain, never explain" which they have coped magnificently, because we never realized how much they despised this leader. But with good cause, since he even had to publicly apologize for his actions against the royal family.

00:00 Omid Scobie's Endgame book has recently come out and said many interesting things.
00:06 Among these is a Prime Minister whom neither Queen Elizabeth nor King Charles liked very
00:11 much.
00:13 According to Express in Omid's book, he talks about how both monarchs had to deal with Boris
00:17 Johnson, a Prime Minister who had to apologize publicly to the Queen.
00:22 Though the monarch privately disliked Johnson because of his behavior, the only one of 15
00:28 Prime Ministers forced to formally apologize to the Sovereign twice, sources said you wouldn't
00:32 have known it during their time together.
00:35 The Royal Family is true to their motto, "Never complain, never explain," by dealing with
00:41 Johnson without it ever showing.
00:44 The reason he had to apologize to the former Queen for hosting a party with over 40 people
00:48 during COVID-19 restrictions the night before the burial of Prince Philip.
00:54 When the Queen's husband died, the whole nation was mourning, so naturally a party under these
00:59 circumstances was not well received.
01:02 But it was not the only bad move on Johnson's part.
01:06 As Scobie writes in his book, he put Charles in an awkward position.
01:11 Boris Johnson didn't send over the speech until the very last minute, so an irritated
01:16 Charles wasn't given ample time to practice reading it.
