00:00 It's common to see street dwellers in Metro Manila during Christmas time.

00:06 DSWD is forcing the residents to leave the streets to convince them to leave.

00:21 now, DSWD is rescuing them through a low-key negotiation.

00:27 There's no compulsion. So when the DSWD couldn't convince the grandmother who accompanied them,

00:33 they left her on the bench.

00:41 The DSWD was forced to leave this Christmas because more people are missing on the streets,

00:45 which is dangerous, especially for the children.

00:48 When the DSWD passed by, some children were missing,

00:52 they were talked to and brought by social workers to their homes.

00:59 Because she's alone at home, she was brought to her neighbor's house.
