00:00 >> What was your initial impressions of watching Joe Flacco and
00:03 what do you think it's gonna open up the offense on Sunday?
00:06 >> It was fun to watch as a player and as a fan of his game.
00:09 Just seeing him able to make those throws at times where we need them,
00:13 it was fun to watch it.
00:14 >> How different was it playing with him versus other quarterbacks you've played
00:19 with recently?
00:20 >> It was a difference as far as hearing a different voice and
00:25 everybody got a different ball, that kind of stuff, just getting used to him.
00:31 >> Seeing the Bengals brush for 150 yards against the Jacks,
00:36 would you watch the game at all?
00:39 Do you have confidence that you're gonna be able to have the same success?
00:42 >> I haven't watched a Bengals, didn't watch the Bengals game and
00:46 I've been watching tape of it and hopefully we are able to go out there and
00:51 accomplish what the Bengals accomplished against them.
00:55 >> It was tough sledding in the running game on Sunday.
01:00 What was kind of going on there?
01:02 You didn't get a ton of opposition from them, but
01:06 do you feel like what was going on there and
01:08 do you feel like you can get it cranked up even more this week?
01:13 >> Just took a little bit too long for us to get our feet under us and
01:16 we think we'll be able to get it cranking up again.
01:19 [BLANK_AUDIO]
01:22 >> Jerome, does it help kind of being back at home this week and
01:24 kind of bounce back from the two game losing streak that you guys had?
01:28 >> Definitely being at home in front of our people, our fans,
01:30 I feel like it'll be great.
01:33 It'll be great for us and it'll be great for them.
01:34 And I think it'll be great.
01:37 [BLANK_AUDIO]
01:38 >> How about that touchdown catch you had?
01:41 They get the ball going.
01:43 [BLANK_AUDIO]
01:45 How did you get some wide open?
01:48 >> Just film study.
01:49 It's a play coach put in and they did everything that he said they were
01:54 gonna do and wide open touchdown pass.
01:58 >> How hard was it keeping your balance as you got closer to the goal line?
02:01 >> It was very hard.
02:03 Those wide open passes, they say are the hardest to catch.
02:06 And in my head, I was thinking, don't drop the ball.
02:07 So I made sure I secured the ball.
02:09 [BLANK_AUDIO]
02:10 >> What kind of passes did Jerome throw?
02:14 It seemed like for the most part, you guys did a nice job of honing in.
02:19 [BLANK_AUDIO]
02:23 >> I really don't know how to answer that.
02:25 What kind of passes?
02:26 >> They were really strong.
02:27 I mean, it's like a break.
02:30 [BLANK_AUDIO]
02:33 You guys had just so many different kind of quarterbacks this year.
02:37 He's known for having a great result.
02:39 I was wondering what that was like for you.
02:42 >> It's smooth.
02:45 I think he threw some really good balls.
02:46 [BLANK_AUDIO]
02:49 >> How do you feel about just the balance?
02:53 I know it's a passing league, but you've had some spurts,
02:57 Clarence has some spurts, Pierce has spurts.
03:00 But it seems like the offense has been so pass heavy.
03:04 Do you feel that as a player?
03:06 [BLANK_AUDIO]
03:08 >> I haven't really paid attention to it.
03:10 Like I said before, in the past, whenever I journey called for whatever play it is,
03:15 we just go out there and run it.
03:16 And maybe at the end of the season, I ended it.
03:18 [BLANK_AUDIO]
03:20 But I felt like we're a pretty balanced team.
03:23 >> What do you feel like the mindset of you guys is gonna be coming back home
03:29 after losing those two games, knowing that you kind of have to pull it back and
03:34 get back on track?
03:36 How do you feel the mindset?
03:38 >> I think we just kind of go back to that same resilient mindset that we've had in
03:40 the past, with injuries and losses.
03:43 And we come together and we work to get the job done.
03:47 >> How tough was that Jacksonville defense, especially against the Friday?
03:51 >> It was very tough.
03:52 I think they're number one rush defense.
03:54 And they're gonna be coming here.
03:57 And they got a good record, and we got a decent record, and
04:01 we're both looking to win.
04:02 >> It might be sloppy, I'm sorry, but it's windy and rainy.
04:07 What do you think about that kind of game?
04:09 [INAUDIBLE]
04:14 >> It's gonna be a physical and tough game.
04:16 And with their run defense and the way we run the ball,
04:18 we don't have to get the job done.
04:19 >> How often do you guys do the actual wetball drill?
04:24 >> We usually do it when we prepare for a game where it's gonna be wet.
04:28 I think we did a couple times this season, I think the San Francisco game.
04:33 So, and also that Bengals game, so yeah.
04:35 >> How tough is it when that ball gets heavier, it's wet?
04:40 How much harder is it to hang on to, especially when you know the defense
04:45 is trying to hang on your arm and either punch it out or claw it out?
04:49 >> It is really tough, and Coach Preacher on ball security, and
04:52 it's gonna be more of an emphasis to make sure in traffic you have two hands on
04:55 the ball, or we catch the ball like you're doing those little details,
04:58 seeing it all the way in and tucking it after the catch.
05:01 >> Jermaine, you were able to come back one week after your high ankle sprain.
05:08 Did you watch Trevor's injury?
05:11 And what are your thoughts on being able to make it back one week after
05:16 suffering an injury?
05:17 >> I didn't see his injury, I just heard about it.
05:21 But pretty much the trainers and Tom, pretty much the only thing that helped me.
05:29 >> So it is possible.
05:31 >> Definitely.
05:32 >> Are you back to 100?
05:34 >> Yeah, season going on, so there's that.
05:37 >> All right, thank you, man.
