00:02 The first idea is a calendar.
00:06 A Polish calendar, a Christmas calendar.
00:09 Christmas is coming, December 6th,
00:12 but also the big Christmas
00:15 before Christmas.
00:17 This is the main motivator
00:19 to do these works.
00:21 The works are really fantastic,
00:25 beautiful, unique.
00:27 They are inspired by ideas
00:29 of our employees and participants.
00:32 These ideas are realized
00:34 in a mutual way.
00:36 Then we display these works
00:38 on various kind of fairs
00:40 before Christmas
00:42 to show what we do,
00:45 but also to make these works
00:48 an element of decoration
00:51 in other houses.
00:53 If someone bought a workshop
00:55 of occupational therapy,
00:57 he or she bought a really nice work
00:59 in this place.
01:01 Often it is unique,
01:03 it never happens
01:05 in other time
01:07 and in other unit.
01:09 We will not find it.
01:11 They are prettier than bought in shops,
01:13 because they are very carefully made.
01:16 A big element here is
01:20 the work of instructors, therapists,
01:23 who also make all efforts
01:26 to make a beautiful work
01:28 together with participants.
01:30 This work should be competitive
01:32 on the market.
01:34 When we sell a work,
01:36 we want to show
01:38 that it is better
01:40 than any other work
01:42 we are looking for
01:44 in a market.
01:46 When we draw ideas,
01:48 it is mainly the Internet
01:50 that has come in the 21st century.
01:52 When we enter
01:54 the market,
01:56 we see a lot of patterns.
01:58 We draw inspiration
02:00 from this.
02:02 Then we improve,
02:04 modify,
02:06 simplify some forms.
02:08 The Internet
02:10 gives us
02:12 a lot of inspiration.
02:14 There are several stages
02:16 to make stained glass.
02:18 We start with the template.
02:20 Then we cut it
02:22 and choose the color
02:24 of the glass.
02:26 We draw the templates
02:28 on the glass,
02:30 cut them
02:32 with a glass knife.
02:34 Then we process
02:36 them with a water grinder.
02:38 Each element of the glass
02:40 is polished separately.
02:42 The next stage is
02:44 to glue it with copper tape.
02:46 Then we join
02:48 individual elements
02:50 together.
02:52 The final stage
02:54 of making stained glass
02:56 is its conservation,
02:58 i.e. applying patina,
03:00 oiling,
03:02 so that the color
03:04 of the tin or patina
03:06 does not oxidize.
03:08 In this area,
03:10 when it comes to facilities
03:12 working with people with disabilities,
03:14 I will not lie if I say
03:16 that we are the only center
03:18 that makes stained glass,
03:20 so I am always happy
03:22 to see people working
03:24 with us.
03:26 People with disabilities
03:28 do not have to drive around the galleries.
03:30 They can buy
03:32 stained glass at their fingertips.
03:34 I think
03:36 that the huge effort
03:38 of all the authors
03:40 of these works,
03:42 including me,
03:44 gives the element
03:46 of beauty.
03:48 This is how
03:50 we create
03:52 our facility.
03:54 We can buy materials,
03:56 we can develop,
03:58 and this therapy
04:00 goes smoothly.
04:02 We encourage people to buy these works.
