U.S. Navy Removes Plane from Hawaii Reef Two Weeks After Crash

The U.S. Navy recovered a plane weeks after it overshot a runway at a military base and splashed into an environmentally sensitive bay in Hawaii on Nov. 20. The base sits on Kaneohe Bay, which is home to coral reefs, a breeding ground for hammerhead sharks and a University of Hawaii marine biology research institute.
