00:00 Well, Reminders to be Kind is something that's really close to our hearts in the city.
00:08 We're obviously in public spaces all the time and we were really pleased that City of Launceston
00:12 decided to do this campaign so that we've got everyone in the community remembering
00:17 to be really kind, especially in time for Christmas.
00:19 It's about taking a breath if you're running around and short on time and remembering that
00:23 we're all human, we're all somebody's son or daughter or sister or brother and we're
00:27 all out there to try and have a lovely Christmas.
00:30 It's really important to make sure that we remember that some of the people in retail
00:34 and hospitality are doing seasonal work so they might be new to the job and just showing
00:37 patience, kindness and smiling everywhere.
00:39 Well, City of Launceston have put on some great graphics for us and we'll be sending
00:43 those out to the shops.
00:45 We're going to carry this campaign out into the new year so you'll see the decals and
00:49 the shops can put their own pictures in there.
00:51 So you'll see those words Reminders to be Kind are everywhere and it's a really good
00:54 sentiment to keep at the front of your mind at all times.
00:56 I think this time of year is the year.
00:58 Everyone's a little more time poor than usual.
01:01 Everyone's sort of perhaps rushing about a bit and they've got a lot of jobs to do and
01:05 they understand that there's time frames coming through to Christmas and the shutdowns over
01:08 New Year.
01:09 So City of Launceston thought it was a great time just to do literally what's in the campaign,
01:14 a Reminder to be Kinder.
