00:00 Here's our tried and tested way to roast a turkey.
00:04 Let it rest when it comes out of the oven, half an hour to an hour is completely fine.
00:08 Then take the legs off and you'll see they'll come away quite easily.
00:12 Give them a little tug and you'll find the joint.
00:15 Then take the breast away as well.
00:21 Snip off the wings.
00:23 You'll see there's a very easy joint where you can cut straight through the leg.
00:31 This is our foolproof method.
00:33 You don't waste as much meat and everybody gets served a lot faster than if you were
00:37 carving at the table and far less mess.
00:39 Of course, carcass is great for soup.
00:43 Then slice the breast meat.
00:48 Cut the drumsticks in half and take as much meat off as you can.
00:53 Then the legs will be great popped in your carcass pot with the soup.
