00:00 Today, I am you.
00:02 You are me.
00:02 You're my mom.
00:03 You're my daughter.
00:04 (laughing)
00:05 Dream come true.
00:06 Okay, so you've got me and Emma Meyers
00:11 here in the chair.
00:12 'Cause in this movie, our family has switched bodies.
00:15 Cece?
00:16 Mom?
00:17 (cheering)
00:19 Oh, absolutely not, Cece.
00:23 No, no, you cannot wear that to school.
00:25 I will die.
00:25 Do you think you're wearing this to my work?
00:26 You look like an American Girl doll.
00:28 Are those your father's shorts?
00:29 Is this Nancy Pelosi?
00:31 How do I get into character?
00:32 I mean, the hair, makeup, and wardrobe
00:34 does a lot of the work for us.
00:35 Yep.
00:36 When I am dressed as you,
00:38 hair and makeup is more glitter-filled.
00:42 We have a Gen Z part in the middle.
00:44 We have more fun.
00:47 See, fun.
00:49 It's cute.
00:50 I can't be uptight Jess when I'm in yellow track pants
00:54 and I have glitter eyeshadow.
00:55 I have to live in my body.
00:57 I'm sorry.
00:58 (groaning)
01:00 What about you?
01:01 When you're Jess.
01:02 When I'm Jess, my hair is typically
01:04 in this cool mom blowout.
01:07 Thanks for adding cool at the top of that.
01:08 Well, I can't roast the moms with this cut.
01:11 Look at you.
01:12 I mean, you were right about that outfit.
01:13 You look fly.
01:14 And then my wardrobe is business-y,
01:18 but with a little bit of childish flair to it.
01:21 This skirt is so tight and itchy.
01:23 I don't know how you wear it.
01:24 Focus.
01:25 You look like me, you sound like me.
01:26 You act like--
01:27 (burping)
01:29 Just put the shoes on.
01:30 You know what's been so fun for me
01:32 is watching you act like the mom of the group
01:35 between scenes sometimes where you're like,
01:37 "Hey, okay guys," and I love it
01:39 'cause it's like, "Yes, do it."
01:41 Ed and Brady.
01:42 Those two boys, they just need to be wrangled.
01:45 Okay.
01:46 They do.
01:47 (upbeat music)
01:49 I would do Thriller.
01:55 I like Thriller.
01:56 Yeah.
01:57 When Going on 30 came out,
01:58 you could not talk me into doing Thriller
02:00 for anything in the world.
02:01 I completely understand.
02:02 Yeah.
02:03 It haunted me.
02:04 It was everywhere I went.
02:05 Every talk show, they wanted me to do it.
02:07 And now, I would totally do the Thriller dance.
02:10 It makes me so happy that people still love it.
02:13 But I would do the Wednesday dance.
02:14 If anyone asked me, no one's asked me.
02:16 (upbeat music)
02:19 I'd swap bodies with Susan from Narnia.
02:22 Bow and arrow.
02:23 Yeah.
02:24 That'd be really cool.
02:25 I see some action in your future.
02:27 I would love some action.
02:29 'Cause you're a gymnast.
02:30 You can do all kinds of physical things.
02:32 You can skate.
02:33 So you're a dancer.
02:33 This is your song.
02:35 I'd like to swap bodies with James Bond for a minute, maybe.
02:38 That'd be fun.
02:39 Just to be so incredibly smooth.
02:42 I wanna be cool and smooth.
02:44 (upbeat music)
02:47 You have crafty favorites.
02:51 Crafty?
02:52 Yeah, what's your favorite snack?
02:53 Ramen?
02:54 I love ramen.
02:55 They have these little thaw bowls at ramen
02:57 that are really good.
02:58 Oh, teeth.
02:59 I couldn't do without teeth.
03:00 And then I'm trying to think what else you always have.
03:02 You like your Uggs.
03:03 You always have something cozy.
03:04 You like cozy.
03:05 Something cozy, big jackets, Uggs.
03:08 Anytime I can take off a tight piece of clothing
03:10 and put something else on, it's nice.
03:12 (laughing)
03:14 I bet you work too hard.
03:16 How does she know that, Mom?
03:17 Because if she said dad worked too hard,
03:19 it would be sexist.
03:21 It's not magic, it's performative liberalism.
03:23 Emma, have you ever had a psychic reading?
03:25 No, I'm too scared of it.
03:27 I can't mess with that stuff, I'm too scared.
03:29 What's your astrological sign?
03:31 I'm an Aries, and I happen to know that you are one too.
03:34 Bring it in here.
03:36 Cece, believe it or not,
03:37 I was actually pretty cool in high school.
03:39 I'm gonna go with or not.
03:41 What do you miss most about being 17?
03:43 I'll tell you what I loved
03:44 is that I was still doing musical theater and dancing,
03:47 and it was just fun.
03:49 But I have a 17-year-old,
03:51 and I really like being her mom,
03:53 so I think it's more fun to be her mom
03:57 than it was to be 17.
03:58 Our clothes are spectacular.
04:01 Yeah, I'll take clothes.
04:03 There are two pairs of shoes I have my eyes on,
04:05 but I don't think that our bosses like for us
04:08 to take things.
04:09 No, they don't, so you have to be on the down low of that.
04:11 Yeah.
04:12 (laughing)
04:14 On the last week, I get a burst of energy,
04:18 and I'm like, man, I could keep doing this forever.
04:20 Also, I don't wanna say goodbye to you.
04:22 I know.
04:23 I don't want that at all.
04:25 (whining)
04:26 I know, and our little Walker family is really close now.
04:29 It's just fun.
04:30 If you think about all of the different scenes
04:32 that we've done, you playing soccer.
04:34 There are so many big sequences.
04:36 There are just so many.
04:37 It's great.
04:38 It's funny, and we have Ed Helms,
04:39 and he's so funny.
04:40 Plus, we have a baby that's a dog,
04:42 and a dog that's a baby.
04:44 What's better than that?
04:45 Well, thanks for checking us out.
04:48 You should do it.
04:49 Thank you for catching up with us here in the chair.
04:51 (laughing)
04:53 Thanks, bye.
04:54 (dramatic music)
