- If the festive fireworks have left you with breathing concerns, don't worry! Our expert cardio-pulmonary physiotherapist, Dr. Divya (PT), has two easy exercises to help you breathe better.

1. Diaphragm Breathing-
Place one hand on your upper chest and the other on your abdomen.
Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth, using your abdominal muscles and diaphragm.
Watch the hand on your abdomen move for the right technique.

2. Segmental Breathing-
Wrap a towel around your chest as shown.
Inhale and hold the towel tight, then exhale and tighten it further.
Breathe against the pressure to strengthen your respiratory muscles.
