00:37 Since the summit began, it has been reported that the delegation has already succeeded
00:41 after the delegation adopted a new climate disaster fund
00:45 that is expected to help small countries like the Philippines to recover from the severe climate disasters.
00:53 As we celebrate excellency, let us remember loss and damage is at the latter end of the phenomenon spectrum.
01:02 We have to realize and remember the important work that also needs to be done
01:07 for adaptation mitigation efforts to be scaled up.
01:11 We are grateful for the pledges from our partner countries.
01:15 We hope that this will assist us and not just the Philippines but other at-risk countries.
01:23 Here in the country, under the leadership of President Marcos,
01:26 climate adaptation projects are also being continuously added through the People's Survival Fund.
01:32 As part of the construction of a new climate field school in Mountain Province,
01:36 drainage systems and agroforestry development in Maramag Bukidnon,
01:40 and reforestation in Loom River in Eastern Samar.
01:44 There is also a solar-powered lamp project in Cabagan, Isabela,
01:48 mangrove rehabilitation in Katanawan, Quezon Province, and water harvesting structures project in Mountain Province.
01:55 According to the Climate Change Commission,
01:57 these projects are only a proof that the administration is serious about the challenges of climate change in the country.
02:04 Here in the camera, a new bill was also passed on climate change.
02:10 That is House Bill No. 9084 or Climate Change Resilience Act.
02:15 If passed, a new climate change resiliency and adaptability program will be created in the country
