Thickness of Graphic Overlay - JRPanel

Graphic overlay has a two-layer structure: panel layer and back adhesive. We should consider the rebound of the switch contact and reliability between the lead and the connector. If it's too thin, it has weak rebound, and the contact separation will be insensitive. If it's too thick, the response will be insensitive, and the press will be hard.

The thickness of the graphic overlays produced by JRPanel ranges from 0.22mm to 1.17mm. The thinnest panel is 0.22mm, which is about the same thickness as 2 sheets of A4 paper.

Keys of the panel is large. For example, if the diameter of the circular button is greater than 12 mm, we produce 0.15 mm panel. The film is slightly thicker and rebounds strongly. The panel has less tendency to relax after the key body is pressed multiple times, thus ensuring the normal operation of the contacts.

The thinner the spacer is, the thicker the circuit substrate film. Planar buttons should use thick film, while the film used for circuit contact bubbling should generally be 0.125mm.
