00:00 And the principal says, "I'm sorry.
00:04 Tracy can't go to this school."
00:08 My heart just drops.
00:15 Tracy's gotta be able to tie her shoelaces
00:18 and she's gotta be able to go to the washroom by herself.
00:20 There's one teacher and 30 kindergarten kids.
00:26 How can she manage Tracy as a four-week amputee?
00:31 So she counter-offered.
00:33 She said, "How about you try Tracy just for one week?"
00:40 And he said, "Okay."
00:46 So my mom and I walked up to the path of the school
00:52 and she got outside of my classroom
00:56 and she got down on her knees to look me eye to eye.
01:00 And she grabbed my shoulders and she said,
01:05 "Tracy, it's really important
01:10 that you and everybody's included.
01:16 Nobody left behind."
01:20 And I didn't know why she was so intense,
01:24 but I'm like, "Okay, Mom."
01:27 So he races outside and he's looking for me
01:31 and he doesn't see me anywhere.
01:35 15 minutes go by.
01:39 The recess bell goes.
01:43 I never made it outside.
01:47 His heart dropped.
01:53 So he goes inside to find my teacher
01:57 and ask her what happened.
01:58 He said, "Couldn't Tracy tie her shoelaces?"
02:02 And the teacher says, "Oh no, Tracy was the first one
02:07 with her shoes tied."
02:09 He asked her, "What happened?"
02:14 She said, "Well, one of her little friends
02:19 couldn't tie her shoelace."
02:22 So Tracy gave her a hint.
02:24 It turns out none of the 30 kids
02:30 could tie their shoelaces.
