UP overpowers La Salle  The UP Fighting Maroons overpowered the De La Salle Green Archers, 97-67 at the Mall of Asia Arena on November 29, 2023, moving closer to winning the UAAP Season 86 men's basketball tournament.  Francis Lopez unleashed a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead UP which posted the biggest Finals Game One winning margin in UAAP Final Four era.  The Fighting Maroons may close out the best-of-3 series in Game Two on December 3, as they shoot for their fourth overall title.
