00:45 - I love it so much.
00:46 So it's basically about two lovers.
00:48 You want to see your lover, but you don't.
00:51 And you end up seeing that person and you're like,

01:02 - It's like pop, it's very in your face pop,
01:04 but you've dabbled in a lot of things from Latin to EDM.
01:07 So what made you decide on this sound for this project?
01:09 - Well, I was going the Latin route and I loved it,
01:12 but I felt like I really wanted to go back
01:14 to who I truly was, you know, the pop artist that I am.
01:19 I recently reconnected with my former A&R
01:23 from "50 Harmony Days" named Joey Arboge.
01:26 He's amazing, he's responsible for all the hits.
01:28 We recently reconnected.
01:30 He played "Gone to Bed" and I completely fell in love.
01:32 I was like, that's my record.
01:34 - And the fact that you've worked with him for so long.
01:36 So how has that been to be at a new label,
01:38 but also have somebody that knows you really well?
01:40 - We made, you know, history together.
01:43 So to have that and to have like a fresh perspective now
01:46 and being in 2023, it's really amazing.
01:49 I'm kind of bringing that old energy,
01:50 but bringing the new energy too.
01:52 - I know your fans are going to miss that pop sound.
01:54 So they're excited to have it back.
01:56 And what can you tell us about like
01:57 what else you're recording?
01:58 Is an album coming?
01:59 Like what's happening with the pop music?
02:01 - There is 100% album, but that'll be for next year.
02:04 Fingers crossed, I know I keep saying that,
02:07 but it's really true.
02:08 I'm just beginning to work on it
02:10 and we have a lot that's in store.

02:19 - Well, something that people can be pumped for
02:21 is this Christmas music.
02:23 So what made you decide to do a Christmas EP?
02:25 - Oh my God, I love the holiday season so much.
02:29 It's been an aspiration and a goal
02:31 to have a holiday album and I finally have one.
02:34 - And what can you tell us about the original song
02:37 that touches you?
02:37 - Oh, it's so fun.
02:39 It's called "Under the Tree"
02:40 and it's about me or whoever you want to be
02:42 being under the tree and you're like,
02:44 "I'm not me."
02:44 It's really cute.

03:09 - You did reunite with your old A&R,
03:11 so just tell me about some memories for those days
03:13 and we even saw Dinah the other day.
03:14 Everybody was so excited to see that online.
03:17 So how's it been to have this resurgence again
03:19 with your love?
03:20 - Yes, it was a resurgence and oh my God,
03:22 it's been something that was truly amazing.
03:25 I recently reunited with not only Joey, but Dinah
03:29 and it was just perfection.
03:30 It really was and it was very like healing too.
03:34 I hadn't seen her in five years, which is crazy.
03:36 - Wow.
03:37 - I know.
03:38 Just to have that and have so many years pass,
03:40 so much time pass and being able to reflect
03:43 and look back and see that in each other
03:46 and know that we have that like sisterhood
03:48 and that bond that we'll share forever.
03:51 That was just so, it was fantastic.
03:53 - And it must feel different as well,
03:55 just to be like women, the women you are now
03:57 and the growth you've had personally,
03:59 it has to be like a whole different vibe.
04:01 - 100%, that's what it is.
04:02 Like we're women now and we have grown so much
04:07 and we have like done our own thing,
04:08 gone our own ways, gone our own path
04:11 and we're now together in a different light
04:14 and I'm trying to reunite with them.
04:18 So I think some sort of reunion may happen.
04:21 - We're feeling the energy, I can tell you.
04:23 We are, the fans are, everybody wants it.

04:31 - When you think about those days as well,
04:33 you were just saying like we're women now,
04:34 but then obviously you guys go viral a lot of times
04:36 for just like so many things that happened
04:38 through your career when you were much younger.
04:40 So what's your favorite like thing
04:41 that goes viral for you guys?
04:42 - One of my favorite ones is the work
04:44 from home hammering the tire for sure
04:47 and then the one where I'm like.
04:49 - Oh yes, and you did.
04:51 What performance was that even?
04:52 - That was down for like a Japanese TV show.
04:57 - And what was going through your head at that time?
04:58 - I was just doing the choreography, okay?
05:01 I was just doing my thing.
05:02 - I was just doing my job.
05:04 - Yeah, I was doing my job for sure.
05:05 - And now that you've had such a long career
05:07 in this industry, what do you feel like
05:09 you have learned as an artist today
05:12 as you're releasing music still?
05:13 What have you learned?
05:14 What's been a big lesson?
05:15 - I've learned to own my voice and own my power
05:18 and I feel like I'm finally doing that
05:19 and I have amazing people around me too.
05:21 I've just learned to really own who I am
