San Francisco will take on the Eagles this week in a rematch of the NFC Championship.

02:15 So I think it's kind of interesting.
02:17 It's like, you can downplay that win, but
02:19 you're essentially downplaying Hasan Reddick again, which is why you lost that
02:22 game, because you didn't take him seriously.
02:25 And now he's calling you out.

03:39 I conducted a poll, man, on my Twitter, and I'm mostly Niner fans and
03:44 probably a lot of homer takes.
03:46 But I think 62% of Niner fans think that the 49ers are gonna win this game.
03:50 And I think 25% or 50/50.
03:54 That's where I'm at kinda right now.
03:55 I'm 50/50, 60/40 Niners.
03:58 Not really sure it's gonna be a close game.
04:00 And we'll see how as the week develops and we learn more things.
04:02 A lot of injured players on the Eagles, which could play a part in this game.
04:06 They're beat up right now and the Niners are pretty damn healthy.

04:14 I suspect we'll hear a couple things from the Niners this week as well.

04:42 Because they do a good job against Micah Parsons.
04:46 They do a good job against Aaron Donald.
04:47 When they face a defensive lineman who they really identify as a game wrecker,
04:52 they essentially don't let him wreck the game.
04:54 But I think the issue with Hasan Reddick is he was on the Cardinals.
04:58 They didn't really respect him when he was in the division.
05:01 He goes to the Eagles, and I think they still have the same idea of who he is.
05:05 I don't know if they even look at him as an elite pass rusher now, he is.
05:08 All you gotta do is treat him with the same respect that you treat Micah Parsons
05:12 and you should be able to light this defense up.
05:14 It's not a great defense, gives up a lot of passing yards.

05:22 They're not gonna be sleeping on him at all this time.

05:27 And the 49ers are good at getting the ball out quickly.
05:29 Brock Purdy's really good at that.
05:30 I think outside of maybe the Dolphins and Tua,
05:33 I think Brock Purdy's second in that regard, I'm pretty sure, or close to it.
05:37 As far as getting the ball out quickly, and
05:38 they're gonna have to do that against the Eagles this coming game.
05:42 The Niners and Eagles are both playing the best teams that they played so
05:46 far this year.
05:47 The Eagles are by far the best team the Niners have played, and
05:49 I think it's vice versa.
05:50 I think the Niners are the best team the Eagles play.
05:52 So they both need to be respectful of each other's strengths, but
05:56 also capitalize on the weaknesses.
05:58 And the Eagles do have a couple of weaknesses.
05:59 >> I don't think it's as simple as just getting the ball out quick though,
06:02 cuz that's the Jimmy Garoppolo offense.
06:04 That's the I'm terrified of my quarterback and offensive line.
06:07 Let's just get the ball in Deebo's hands and pray for the best.
06:09 >> To me, what makes Brock better is that he's more willing to push the ball down

06:15 And he takes full advantage of Brandon Ayuk where Jimmy never was on the same

06:19 And Brandon Ayuk, I mean, he's averaging like 14,
06:22 15 yards before the catch this year.
06:24 So if they can't block Hasan Redick,
06:27 then they can't get the ball to Brandon Ayuk where he's dangerous.
06:31 And they're not as good of an offense.
06:32 So I mean, I think a lot comes down to taking him seriously, giving Brock some
06:35 time and letting Brandon Ayuk destroy a bunch of 30 year olds in the second.

08:30 I definitely think they're gonna be respecting Redick this time and
08:33 they're not, Kroft's not obviously not gonna be blocking him.
08:36 But if you watch the breakdowns by JTO Sullivan,
08:40 he breaks down the 49ers film excellently.
08:44 And one of the things he's been talking about all year if you watch those
08:46 breakdowns is, they'll just be blown blocking assignments.
08:50 Like a lot of Brock Purdy's sacks that he's taken are just straight blown
08:54 blocking assignments.
08:55 And that's his biggest gripe in regards to Kyle Shannon and this offense.
08:59 So I'm not sure whether it's Kyle or whether it's Brock or both and
09:03 their ability to communicate or Brock's ability to call audibles in regards to
09:09 the blocking assignments, but it's been a big problem and
09:12 I hope they figure it out before this Eagles game.
09:14 And I mean, they gotta be respecting us on Redick and
09:17 that pass rush over there after what happened last year, I would hope.
